This is the same country that elected Donald Trump president twice because of misogyny.

Homophobia would be 100x worse.
It's laughable that you think misogyny had anything to do with it. One was/is an unlikeable crook and the other a babbling idiot that her own party had to suck it up to take her. Just take a look at how many states currently have female governors. 13/50. And oh my God, a number of them are also from "Red" states. Get a non-cringe worthy candidate and you'll see. I wonder if I mentioned someone like Sarah Huckabee, Kristi Noem, Kim Reynolds, Kay Ivey, or Nikki Haley if you would immediately reject them because of misogyny? Or would something else be the issue for you?

Completely different circumstances.

Black men, Latino men, and Muslim men swing presidential elections. Neither Hillary nor Kamala garnered much support from that demographic. The D or R next to the name is irrelevant.

I know plenty of seemingly intelligent people where the D or R is all that matters. Never more true than in the last 10 years. Far more than race or gender. Kamala didn't garner any real support from any group because she was a historically bad candidate. But yet there were plenty who tried to push her across the finish line simply because she is a Democrat. You simply can't use misogyny as a reason for her.

You’re not getting it.

Joe Biden in 2020 was no more or less popular than Kamala in 2024. Kamala lost for the same reason Hillary lost: the demographic Ds rely on to win presidential elections, as I mentioned in my first response, are resistant to voting for women. Joe Biden got those votes. Kamala didn’t. Because she’s a woman.

Get it?

You don’t get it - the entire premise of the thread was that America is too misogynistic to elect a woman. I don’t care who you think are swing groups. I showed you that both parties have elected female governors. Get a good candidate and one will be elected.

Got it?

Typical lib - can’t argue with class because you have nothing but emotional baggage. Now I can add world views to your list of nonsensical comments.
1. I’m not a lib.

2. I’m not emotional. I am just quicker than I used to be at determining when someone is an imbecile and incapable of processing simple concepts.

3. You clearly do not have the first clue what nonsensical means. If you did, then there is no way your response to me would hinge on female governors and other elected officials at the state level as incontrovertible proof that misogyny doesn’t exist in certain cultures and ethnic demographics that in presidential elections would cause low voter turnout and/or voting for the opposing candidate when said demographics would normally vote a certain way when the candidate was male.

We are done here.

Kamala only lost because she was clueless and tied to Brandon's idiotic policies. There was a lot of hate for Trump that kept her in it.

Joan Rivers paid the ultimate price for exposing the Obama's.
Why is it so difficult for so many MAGAts to refrain from inappropriately using an apostrophe for a plural noun?

Obamas, dipshit. Obamas.

Otherwise, your post is second to none in the way of high intellectual acumen.

You understand you used misogyny as the reason Trump won, correct? Or maybe you don’t know what that actually means, do you? If you don’t like the fact I stated America has in fact elected 15 female governors, currently, then don’t use that as the basis of an argument.

Periods and commas can be your friend. Since you brought out the grammar police. But I’m sure that will be refuted too.
