Is this a bad thing?.......I don’t think it's good, right?

Well, they try anyway. Most of the officials don't appear to know the rules, but they try to play by them.
The ones on TV have to, because they can easily get reported.

Random D2 or JUCO game on a Wednesday night? You might as well pay them and tell them to leave before the game starts. Nobody would know the difference...............

Not seeing that it will break records? I think you’re wrong. We will see.
The UConn/Notre Dame game was on a Sunday night back when the women's FF was Sunday/Tuesday. I don't know if that helps or hurts the chances, but I think that it will definitely be close.

Fify...........................just sayin.
I think you understand my point about Caitlin. Paige Bueckers may arguably be a better basketball player than Caitlin, but very few casual basketball fans are going to tune in to watch her play. Caitlin's charisma is off the charts and the NCAA is going to be begging for her to stay for two more years.

If you don't think that Paige Bueckers isn't arguably a better basketball player than Caitlin, you really don't understand the game. Arguably is the key term here. Kind of like Pete Maravich being called the best basketball player ever. Maybe the best pure scorer, maybe the most flamboyant, but best ever, nope. Laugh away Monkey Boy.

You don't read well do you? Or maybe it's the comprehension part. I have stated before and will state again that I believe CC is the most exciting and maybe the most important player to hit women's basketball, maybe ever. She has influenced tv viewership, and without looking it up, I will bet most every game she played in on away courts had more attendance than without her. Look at the season tickets sold at Iowa. But that doesn't automatically make her the "best" player. Paige Bueckers is, maybe now it's a was, pretty special too. My original point was she lacks the charisma of Clark and wouldn't bring the average fan to the tv. Not sure why that gave you such a case of butt hurt, but whatever.

I'd take CC every day of the week. She's a better player and more durable

Gonna need @IowasLaw to confirm how uninteresting a stat this is...... ;)

Sorry, if already posted, but I felt like it needed its own thread.

Not trying to hate on women's basketball, but "non revenue women's college basketball" and "we're looking for $75B in our next media rights deal NBA" are quite far apart.

OK, Since you understand the game and I don’t, Where does Bueckers excel over Clark to make her ”arguably” the better player. Specifically what aspects of Paige’s game are clearly superior to Clark’s?
