ISU going down again?

Neutral site - which B10 west team are you betting to beat Colorado in a champ game? Colorado has one of the best QB and receiving groups in the country, curious to who you think would beat them.
Nebraska. You know, that team that isn't bowl eligible yet in the B1G.

ASU beat Texas St. by 3 pts and they could win that conference. ISU is the only team to beat a decent outside conference opponent and again, if we're being honest, ISU never should've won that game or even been close but thems the breaks and they all count.

Colorado, BYU, ISU, and ASU are all very average teams. Just like the teams I mentioned earlier. My point was that all of the teams I mentioned above could win that conference and I'd also include Nebraska and Rutgers as well as having a shot.

Any way you shape it, the conference isn't much good. That's just reality. It's not me speculating. In basketball, sure, I'll believe the conference is awesome, because they are. In football, yeah, not good overall. ISU basketball is good! How's that for me hating a conference just because my rival team plays in it? Project much?

If Colorado is the frontrunner of the conference, that's a bad omen. They're not a good team. They have some great players, sure, but good teams will dominate them every time, and sometimes, even some bad ones.

How does your rating system feel about that?

I know you think you're being objective here but you aren't. This is as valid as Iowa being #4 in 2015. We all knew it wasn't true if we were being honest with ourselves. We all also honestly knew every year the B1G West was a joke.

It's because these were truths but we were trying to make it sound like they weren't. You're being the fan here.

Your conference may be competitive but is the same quality as the B1G West. It's the tallest little person.
I have just referenced computer rankings. They are as objective as one can get as it's all based on actual results plugged into a computer algorithm. You can argue the algorithm is crap, but you are on weak ground saying the results are not objective.

Nebraska literally beat Colorado badly this season. LLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLOOOOOOOOOOOOOOLLLLLLLLLLLLLZZZZZZZZZZZ!

No they're not. They don't matter. Objectivity has never existed anyway but believing you've solidified your stance by having a trumped up set of variable numbers doesn't cut it. Believe what you want, it's all good. You're welcome to get your hopes up that it isn't as bad as everyone around you says it is.

Eventually, you'll meet your Christian McCaffery and reality will set in quickly. The conference is B1G West level on a good day. Your numbers matter to you alone. Believe it or don't, doesn't matter. Trust me, you all don't want to actually play any good teams in a bowl game this year.

My eyes tell me what's obvious about the B12. I'd give them their props if it was deserved but I see no teams that I'm impressed with in that conference is all.

According to Sagarin, the Big 12 is the second highest rated conference.

1 SEC 81.89
2 BIG 12 77.17
3 BIG TEN 76.76
4 ACC 74.24

While there may be no great teams in the Big 12, one would be hard pressed to find a more competitive conference from top to bottom. Anyone, with the possible exception of Oklahoma State (who appears to have given up) can win on a given Saturday. Often injuries play a factor in how a team fares.
Does competitive necessarily mean highly rated or very good, not really. A normal Utah team over the past 10 years would roll through the Big 12 but they had Rising problems at QB and maybe other issues.

Exactly. Competitive against average to below average or bad teams doesn't boost up the product. There is a very real scenario that if these teams all played in the B1G or SEC each one of them would be .500 or lower at this point in the season.

This is obvious, right? I certainly thought it was.

Potential Big 12 title matchup of Colorado (owned by Nebraska) BYU(ranked lower than Iowa in your poll here) equivalent of USC(5-5) and Arizona state even lower. One of these teams will probably receive first round CFP bye.

Name one actually good team that anyone in the B12 has beaten? You guys are beating up on each other within the conference so what other basis can they use?
