ISU should be 6 point favorite next Saturday

isu's QB is nothing to fear and your RB's are young and small. Looks like the isu OL wasn't able to push UNI around so nothing says isu is going to move the ball any better than a the isu we just dominated.

I tell you what if you want to give me the Hawks and points just let me know.

Pneom,

How many points will you give me and I get the Hawks? We can set up a private bet at a few places in Vegas and I will pay the fee's. Tell me how many points and how much.

Trust me if the ISU receivers were that great they wouldn't be playing in Ames. Kids go to Ames as a fall back on not getting any decent offers. Always been that way and always will be that way.

Yes you have one. but otherwise none. And he is retarded for going there when he could have gone elsewhere.

Lazard is an atypical example since he's from Iowa and isu legacy. I would be curious about what other teams offered the other iswho receivers.

I read that Ill State lost half their starting line up from last year. They looked pretty bad to me. Maybe a 7-5 FCS team.

Big whoop. ISU spanked UNI 31-7.

There isn't an Iowa WR that would make the ISU two deeps. Iowa's linebackers are a weakness too. They looked bad Saturday against a bad team. Iowa was fortunate yesterday to have corners that could tackle well. LB's missed a LOT of tackles.

I intend to bet $10 on ISU regardless of what the line is. I learned long ago never to bet on my favorite teams; however, if I bet against them- I'm not mad if I lose. I'll eat a $10 loss for an Iowa win any day of the week :)
I do that a lot. But you do NOT want to do it any way but straight up. Suppose, for instance, I bet on the Hawks, giving 6 points, and they win by 3. It's a horrible day for me any way I look at it.

I haven't seen Lazard do anything yet in lames. Regardless of what his recruiting ranking was.

So clone fan believes isu should be favored and when given an opportunity to back up his actions he runs away like a little girl.

Still confused as to why isu and its fans are laughed at?

I'm an Iowa fan moron. I want Iowa to win, i just don't think they should be favored until, you know, they actually start winning there consistently. Which under Kirk, 5 losses, 3 wins. Recent history under Kirk is not on Iowa's side in Ames.

I don't think you're fooling anyone with your troll attempt, Fantastic. Go away or take the bet. I'll take Iowa +3 or shut up

Iowa Linebackers are bad.......How many times have I read that? You idiots that keep claiming the LB's are bad need to remember, they are sophomore's. Niemann's first start. Jewell was injured some of last season. I distinctly remember people on this board saying how bad Iowa's LB's were back when Hitchens, Kirksey and Morris were sophomore's. Morris was awful, slow, couldn't read the plays and couldn't get off his blocks. How did they turn out? I don't know how you can evaluate them after the Illinois State game, as the D line dominated so much.
This Iowa Iowa State game is simple. ISU always seems to play their best game of the year. However, if Iowa plays Iowa football like they are capable of, Hawks win. Iowa 34 ISU 17

Typical Clown Bullsh!t
Enjoy your UNI win...start looking for your next ex-coach

do clone fans attend 11 of the 13 games of the 2009 Iowa fb season?

or all but 1 2014-2015 Iowa basketball B1G home games including the Nebraska game that was during a blizzard? I dont think so.

Only person confused here is you bud.

Forgive me if i dont want to bet with anonymous strangers on the internet.

Fair but in this case Iowa is -6, so I can bet on ISU +6 and potentially be a double winner if Iowa wins by 3

It amazes me how many Hawkeye fans keep reciting the mantra about ISU playing its best game of the year against Iowa. That isn't usually the case, year-in and year-out. Last year, for instance, ISU played better against Kansas State and Texas than against Iowa. Nor does Iowa always play worst against ISU -- witness last season's Minnesota and Tennessee games.

But I guess if you're so insecure that you need a psychological crutch, it's no big deal.

The other fallacy is that it is often stated how the Iowa State players point to this game. There may be some individuals from the state that see this as a special game and sometimes it results in a poorly played game (Arnaud). But many of these kids are from Texas and Florida. It just doesn't mean the same thing to them. The special games for the kids from Texas are when they get to return home to play in front of their friends and family.

I think this is a game more for the fans. I've maintained this position for a long time, that there is no other team I hate to lose to more than Iowa, yet there are many other teams on the schedule I'd rather beat. I think that holds true for Iowa fans also. Think Iowa State and Ohio State to understand what I'm saying. For Iowa State, beating Oklahoma or Texas is a huge thrill. Beating Iowa is a relief.

No risk for you at all. There are several Las Vegas Casinos that will do a private bet for a fee. I will pay the fee's. You send in your $5K-$10k and I do the same. Then we say the game is Iowa at isu and the spread is isu -5.5. You have isu and I get Iowa. The Casino will then transfer the money from one account to another based on the outcome.

Hell that is a half a point below what you said.

So are we on?

I hope you are right but i just don't see it. ISU and their fans are currently preparing for Super Bowl week, otherwise known as "Iowa week." Meanwhile captain Kirk is somewhere chewing gum and muttering about ebbs and flows. i wonder if he even knows Iowa plays ISU next Saturday. might have to wake him from his Sunday afternoon nap to inform him.

I've been done with the "Super Bowl" thing for probably 10 years. If there were ever any truth to the idea that Iowa doesn't take the game as seriously as ISU, you'd hope the Iowa staff would recognize that and make adjustments to how they prepare for ISU. Especially with how often they've won ever since they snapped Fry's streak. It is different from other games on both teams' schedules. There are always a lot of Iowa kids on both rosters who grew up watching this game every year. Shame on both programs if they don't take every game seriously. Iowa shouldn't treat ISU as just another non-conference opponent when they're on the schedule every year. ISU shouldn't settle for beating bad Iowa teams and almost never contending for their conference (also, they should admit that their conference has been overrated recently the same way the B10 used to be overrated).

I don't know how the game will turn out. I am certainly hopeful that Iowa can get the win in Ames. But, as for the line...ISU -6 seems a bit high. Even with the success of late in terms of wins and losses, ISU hasn't beaten Iowa by more than three since 2005. The pattern seems to be that Iowa will either handle ISU and the game will not be in doubt past the second quarter, or ISU will eek out a last second field goal victory in a mistake-filled, low-scoring game. The only real aberration was the 2011 game where the score was inflated by three OT's. I guess you could say that ISU should have won by 4 that year, since they didn't attempt the PAT after scoring the winning TD in overtime.

If ISU wins this year, I imagine it will be in a defensive struggle, that turnovers will play a huge role, and that the spread will be 3 or less.

Attending games doesn't make you a knowledgeable fan..............

Oh sure you can have an opinion. You can even make a troll comment like Tevaun Smith wouldn't make ISU's two deeps, especially after last week's game........but that doesn't make you right. Not even close, in fact.

I don't know how good Illinois State is this year, they certainly didn't look great, but I thought UNI looked bad Sat. night. Why did they bench Kollmorgen? Bailey really looked rattled out there.

Bundrage chose ISU over Louisville and Cincinnati
Montgomery transferred to ISU but had offers from Alabama, Florida, Florida State, Georgia, LSU, Miami, Nebraska, Notre Dame, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Texas A&M, UCLA plus others out of High School.

I think we would have been forced to try for two in the third OT, if the game was still in doubt.

Iowa State is an amazing 12-4 against the spread against Ferentz.
Over/under is 52.5.

I don't gamble, but am one of the few who actually uses this for entertainment value.
Kirk has only won 3 times in Ames (2003, 2009 and 2013).
2003 and 2009 we finished in the Top 10 end of season poll, and 2013, we finished 8-5.

I like the QB-RB combination we have and pull away in the second half and win 34-24.

Yes facts like how Iowa consistently has much better recruiting classes than isu. Or must we ignore those facts? It is amazing just how many facts about isu that are brought up here are ignored by clone fans.

Do tell us how it really is though. You can start with why anyone in their right mind would give isu more money with the recent research fraud isu has on their watch?

I am betting no clone fan will have an answer.
