The run up to the rally, the rally, and the aftermath will be discussed a few days into this week, which will overshadow any final media/message push by the Harris campaign.

I'm trying to square not leaving him after "sh*thole cointries", storming the capital, or being found liable for sexual assault. But leaving him now after he hired a comedian to make offensive jokes, "that's the last straw"? If anything, it's on brand.
I feel like Trump always dominates the news cycle the week after these controversies. Now Harris will get very little attention this week, when she needs it the most. The media has taken (or will take) the bait.
Brace yourselves for 4 more years of this again: Trump says something crazy, then doesn't apologize, then we all talk about it for a week, then he comes up with something else crazy/weird/offensive that makes us forget about the last thing. I'd call it "rinse and repeat", but that implies some sort of cleaning process along the way. Instead each layer of Trump nastiness provides another permanent coating, like a lacquer.

I expect an hour after its confirmed Kamala wins, the MAGA Rs will start to distance themselves from Trump and start speaking openly on his trials. Once Trump no longer has the power, they'll abandon him.
