Shoot -- we had trouble with Blake Rasing. "The Big Fella" it is.If we were to lure Cassioppi away from NW, could we all agree in advance to just call him The Big Fella? Would seem to save a lot of spelling arguments down the road.......
Looks like KD took the private jet to visit Cassioppi today. Not sure how to post photos unfortunatley. If someone would fill me in, that'd be great. Otherwise, just imagine KD and Cass standing in front of an ugly jet.
I am not a bean counter. But if there are 9.9 scholarships, & we turnover about 5 wrestlers a year, that means we are missing out on 75% of those visits. They could visit more kids but this ain't the football team.

just food for thought...Seen that Cael's contract expired last Friday and hasn't signed a new one yet, does that make him ineligible to recruit at this time since technically he is not under contract? #slushfund

He's likely still drawing a paycheck as head coach so he's fine. Ferentz didn't have a contract for about a year after he was hired at Iowa back in the day.

I knew we shouldn't have just taken Perry so quickly. Bad move. Karl would have probably been a pretty good head coach of the HWC.
I have reconsidered. I like Perry as head of the HWC.
As much as I like M* as an assistant coach and head of recruiting, I am now on the official "Fire Morningstar" bandwagon and on the "Hire Karl as assistant coach" bandwagon. Go get 'er done TnT.
Lara is nothing but bait for Teske. Typical and sad for even ISU. If we get Teske great, if not I kinda like Spencer.
Karl would get a demotion & raise as an assistant at Iowa. Great move.
Please show some respect and get his name right, Carl not Karl. I don't think it is too much to ask!!

I'm all for ISU returning to what they once were, but I agree, the way they're conducting business so far is somewhat embarrassing. If I was a longtime fan, I'd have to be a bit disgusted... "Hey, were kinda like Iowa now! Wanna come try to be like a Hawkeye here?"

I agree Gobs. I want Teske don't get me wrong. But ISU is all in on him and bringing in other kids as bait. That is weak. Just get him. And tee him up against Lee. Great. But don't be offering teammates to get him. Wrestling ain't like football. U only get a certain amount money at wrestling. And I hope ISU isn't giving money away to get Teske.
