Anyone have a scouting report on Jada …maybe saw her play in HS or on the circuit?

Coming into this season I was thinking that she could carve out at least a situational role since she is the only Forward on the roster who is an inside/outside shooting threat. And she appears to be a decent rebounder/defender in mop-up duty.

Will she be a deep reserve the next couple of years or can she elevate into a spot in the rotation?

Hard to say. I believe she was a higher ranked recruit in Iowa then Hannah. Then she lost her freshman year to an injury. When she's in she doesn't seem up to the pace that the top 7 or 8 players play at. Maybe she takes a big jump next year.

I think she played the 3 on All Iowa Attack. She looks like she is ready for minutes. She has a 3 and likes to drive based on her limited playing time. Scouting report coming in was very similar game to Warnock. Kate is dominating those minutes right now.

I appreciate your perspective more than my own. I saw the drive but it ended with some wild shots and I'm not sure how consistent that 3 is. As it is, she is second to last off the bench. Still plenty early though!

I think she will be a player in the next year or two. She moves well, likes to shoot and is at least six one or two.
Seems to be very athletic. I agree that she is either a tall 3 or a 4.
I think she has a chance to be a good player.

At least according to ESPN, Hannah was ranked higher. Stuelke 45, Gyamfi 76. Really not a huge difference tbh (it's typically a big drop off from ~25ish to everyone else) but I'd say Stuelke is playing like a Top 50 recruit.

Bluder said in her freshman season that she envisioned Jada someday playing the 3, but she was having her at the 4 and 5 her freshman year. She didn't want to overwhelm her by having her learn 3 different positions, and she'd save that for down the road. So there's perhaps something to this -- the 4 and 5 were clogged last year with Stuelke -> O'Grady filling in for Czinano and Warnock (on top of her injury). This year, the 3 and 4 are the most clogged with Stuelke, Martin, Affolter all demanding minutes.

I think Jada will likely back up Hannah/Sydney at the 3/4 next year. She is a good shooter (even in transition), has good size, and seems to have the bare minimum fundamentals down when she sees limited minutes -- I've only seen her take a bad shot once (so far).

Yeah, I figured it was a logjam problem.
