Clearly wrong. The line-up change had nothing at all to do with the fans or media. That you would think it was a coaching move by McCaffery designed solely to stick it to his critics and then confidently proclaim that on a message board demonstrates your absence of critical thinking and lack of emotional control. Don't worry though, you're not alone. Many others just like you post this kind of nonsense here.

Fran made a move and it worked. Good for him. I still think having a legit lottery pick has as much to do with it as anything. I think the real bump that doesn't get discussed is when the second group of connor, joe, murraysx2 and sanfort are playing together

the only way fran is changing my opinion of him is to actually play in the second weekend of the NCAA tournament or until he brings in someone to help with defense. Defense travels.
If fran were gone tomorrow, I wouldn't care (If he stays I really don't care) and DeVries would be my choice but I'm not AD. This is the first time in a decade I've been truly surprised by Iowa basketball.

I know many people in real life like this. And on message boards. It’s been a magical run. Enjoy it and know that we’ll eventually lose again someday, just for you. But, not until next season.

Yeah I've been here eating some crow, and gladly so. When Connor was mired in shooting woes in January and Bohannon was struggling, I was questioning Fran. Kudos to him, got the team to play like it has been. since 2/1. They deserve all the accolades for how they finished, winning the BTT, and hopefully they just keep it going.

My biggest worry/complaint was Fran moving jbo to point and running him 30-35mpg (like he had been doing early this yr, except at the 2) and therefore joe getting little to no time. Instead joe is getting similar minutes to when he was starting and is a huge spark plug off the bench. Fran’s done an unbelievable job and it’s not only the starting lineup change, it’s recognizing the matchups and playing joe/ulis more if needed against certain teams.
Oh…and dredging up these old threads just for the “i told you so’s” is idiotic. We’re all Hawk fans just wanting to win (outside a handful of trolls).

Many of the “old threads” were idiotic at the time too. Did you call them out then or jump on the bandwagon?

We’re mostly all Hawk fans I agree, but some of us have a funny way of showing it. If HR is where you vent after losses, I’d suggest finding another outlet or be prepared to be called out later. That’s my suggestion. I find the “i told you so” post quite funny.

And the average venting posts aren’t being recalled either. True? Some of the more idiotic ones are, at least what I’m seeing. This thread is a perfect example.
