Not even remotely the same. Jordan is reposting messages that were sent to him. There is a major difference between telling someone to kill themselves as was posted and not kissing someone’s ass. You can complain about the timing as has been said in this thread, but do not compare the trash messages he received to him reposting them. Those who sent the messages in the first place dug their own holes.

And anyone saying he should be dialed in on the next game I hope you also spend all of your free time focused on your "work." Lawrence Welk reruns aren't aired 24 hours a day so Jordan has a few spare hours between practice and lights out at 5 pm.

I think Jordan is motivated by ****ing with his online enemies. Is it spring break? If so, the kid has literally nothing to do. He cannot prepare for the game 24/7-that over sharpens some people so the break their tip when the moment arrives.

I always cheer for JBO on the court. Off the court I have never heard good things about him. Very self serving and instigates crap. I would hope he would just enjoy his clutch play from this last week and the championship with his team. Last year he spent the first week of Madness doing interviews and talking trash only to lay a giant turd vs Oregon. Some on here say he should wait until after the tournament to do this. When Iowa loses he likely loses his high seat he is sitting on right now so no in his best interest he needs to get this childish crap over with when it's convenient for him now.
Thats a ridiculous analogy. Whats in front of the TEAM, not Jbo alone, is something they've all dreamed about since they started playing basketball as little kids. They have a real shot to do something that Iowa hasn't done in almost half a century, and they may not have another chance in their lifetimes. This is not the mundane of daily work. Its not practice we're talking about here. And what he does now as a leader can most certainly have an effect on his team mates, coaches, etc...I'm sorry that you don't agree that maybe for once he could put these things aside for his team. As I said, he's THE guy who stood there yesterday and said the players weren't listening to any of the outside noise or detractors. Maybe he should follow his own advise and statement....

People hiding behind a phone or keyboard calling someone else pathetic. Gotta love it.
Also, I love all the "tough guy" attitude on those messages, with toddler like spelling errors and uneducated grammar - while making fun of someone still playing a collegiate sport.
I'm not antisocial. I just have no patience for the majority of human kind, as proven by countless people who use social media to act like the worst versions of themselves.

On one hand, I agree. It's not just about him, however, another way to think about it is that he IS leading. He's calling people out and being a voice for players in the new age of social media.
If he was taking trash to other teams and saying Iowa is better than everyone, I would not like that bulliten board material, but I can't imagine the pressure players face, and having to deal with death threats, encouraging suicide, and the nasty things fans are saying, it has to be a lot.

How was that JBO fatigue Saturday after he made the 3 to win? I’m guessing not to many people were hating him then. Does he do some things I wouldn’t, yes but I’m not his coach or teammates who love him and don’t seem to mind. The fatigue is the small portion of the fan base hating on a kid that has hit more big shots for Iowa than anyone. This program is much better due to his time at Iowa.
I don't understand why people are upset over this. He's been attacked in the past and he's just responding in kind. It's not like he's lashing out at people who are blameless or didn’t start the pissing match. I'm wondering who on here wouldn't be doing the same thing.
