100% goes to the player, how the player spends it is of no consequence. Would you at some point balk that the player used the money to buy a Tesla and since you hate on Elon Musk consider that you paid money to Elon Musk?
I didn’t know Elon was a college sports agent. Thanks for that information.

not really. It's the NCAA's fault for not acting on it and regulating it early on. They should have had a plan in place and not let it get to the courts. They f'ed themselves.
I guess that I struggle with why the NCAA continues to exist. When the Mega conferences decide there is no need for the NCAA and decide to implement some rules, this cluster &%@$ might finally have some guardrails.

Explain how if 2 conferences are dominating everything and have all the money they will allow some guardrails? In the history of the world the people with all the power and money rarely let anyone else have it.

No, not in this case anyway.

Owen showed his true colors by coming in fat and out of shape last year then pulled a pussy move quitting on his team. Dix is streaky and while a nice player he disappears way too often.

Similar to the housing market there are jackasses willing to pay far above true market value because they’re fortunate enough to have the funds to do so, not realizing they’ll never get their investment back down the road.

Yep…. And for what? Maybe a cool Sweet 16 run to tell your grandkids about 10 years later? It’s a huge waste of money IMO.

That's your choice but keep quiet when the team goes sub .500 because they just can't compete. I like our new coaching staff but he's not Norman Dale.
Ah, there you are again telling people to keep quiet because they're smarter then you and aren't dumb enough to throw hard earned money at high school kids who have done absolutely nothing. The best possible outcome is for this whole thing to implode where these "institutions of higher learning", (as if) rethink what exactly they've become a party to....

I don't remember saying it was going to happen. I said it would probably be the best thing that COULD happen. This mess will not get better if left in the hands of the people burning through all this money.

Can't get worse than it is now. What purpose does the NCAA serve, other than taking a cut of the $$$?

Of course it can. And it already is heading that way. The 2 biggest conferences with all the money. Great. Put them in charge. The NCAA has had their power taken away by the courts. Not sure what you expect them to be able to do at this point.

So the courts are fukking up collegiate sports just as they are Trump’s presidency? Eff the judges. All of ‘em.

Greg’s a stickler of being fundamentally sound and working defensively. Id assume, its gonna be a real eye opener for Dix and Freeman after playing glorified city rec for a few years
I doubt it. I then they will fit in immediately and do very well at Creighton.
