Sorry you don’t understand the post. It’s not that difficult. Anyone who has played basketball knows wins are hard to get against evenly skilled teams.
Ohio St and Iowa are not coached in the same manner.

What’s stupid is getting all worked up over a loss in any sport. If you can’t take the losses with the wins stop being a sports fan it just makes you an angry person. The players don’t want or need your advice. They have way more invested in their sport than any of us.

This just in: our coach has had 9 years to implement his system, has as much talent as a team like Iowa can expect to ever have, and hasn't won shit.
Getting a job in the University of Iowa athletic department is as close to automatic tenure in your field as exist in the private sector. We have a 25 year football coach that isnt going to make the ballot of the HoF and a basketball coach who wouldn't know how to teach defense to 5th graders but let's just keep them here because stories of licklighter are just soooooooooo bad.
Neither has the majority of the other Big Ten teams. What makes Iowa any more deserving then them? Fair weather fans just don’t understand how hard it is to win most games in a season. Especially when your team is the hunted.

No. You have to have a .600% win percentage and his time at Maine IS counted. He would have to go 10-2 each of the next 2 years or 9-3 for the next 3. I dont see it.
Apparently they play to win more than we do. I know pat angerer made the "the other team has guys on scholorships" line popular but when you are a decade in you are there for a reason and you have failed. 4 years ago when fran was screaming at refs and calling them cheaters if you would have told the powers to be he would be 9 years in and still not won shit, he would have been gone.

That’s fully half the teams in the league (and Illinois is currently one game back). I don’t think you want to talk about Fran and the BTT but even Penn Freaking State has played in the championship game of the BTT during this time.

I was a regional level ODP soccer player and 4 year letter winner in college. Basketball wasn't my sport.

Don’t know about soccer but in basketball...players have bad nights and EVERY team experiences disappointing losses. Isn’t that the topic blowing up the board? Iowa not meeting fair weather fans expectations.
