Kemdawg Retires

That was a fun memory. So glad I got to see that one in person as well. Right up there with Tony Ramos pinning Jimmy gulibon back in 2013.
That was definitely a great one. Ramos almost brought the roof off of Carver more than once.

Pinned both back to back years I believe and both were in Carver if I am not mistaken. At least I think I was there live for both but that was a lot of alcohol ago.

I thought Ramos pinned Jordan Conaway. Or did he pin both?

2013 - Gulibon

Ramos also had the upset over Jordan Oliver the year before the Conaway pin. One of the loudest moments in CHA history.

He brought such a rare combination of technical skill/acumen and brute strength. Kem will always be one of my favorite Hawkeyes. Best of luck to him.

My little bro got quite the attention from the BTN crew that night…. Ol’ Cael fleeced us too. Buttered us up real good before the dual. We won’t let him forget it this year. Great memories that evening.

I really want Kem on staff. After watching his interview with Bader on the Bader show the other day, I want him on staff even more. I'm sure it's tough to cut ties but Telford has been here long enough, time for him to move on and further build his coaching resume. Let Kemerer roll around with the upper weights.

If there are any staff changes an emphasis should be put on hiring someone who didn’t compete at Iowa. Do that first. This program could use an influx of fresh techniques and ideas. First call should be to Alex Dieringer.

I’d be good with Kem after that, though I’d prefer he cut his teeth a little first.

First call outside of Iowa ties should be Jason Nolf but I would still take Kem over Nolf.
