I'm hoping it's too low.
Given our historical propensity to play in close games, hopefully we need to use him more. If he shows early in the season he's reliable (automatic?) from 42 and closer that MAY lower the number of times Kirk goes for it on 4th down and potentially increase out PPG by 3+.
With the ball being moved forward on KO and TB by 5 yards I prefer a higher/shorter kick, but given our propensity to give up big returns I like that he consistently kicks it in the end zone.
Unless Ellis has improved greatly, this is a player we need quite a bit. Also, if Kidd struggles we may need him punting too.
It would be nice if we could see an increase in FG and FG attempts, while hopefully (obviously) getting more TD's.
If we use him like last year (sparingly on FG), then his ranking is about right.
