Not often you see the OG/LB combo. You guys see his HS highlight? It's like watching a smaller Brandon Scherff against smaller competition. This is exactly the attitude we all want Tristan Wirfs to have:

Did the ball go behind him?
Dang, bounce it to the outside and that's 6.Interesting that Mike Golic Jr made a point of tweeting about how impressed he was with Schott.
Check it out:
No worries bro.So I enlarged it and slowed it down, and I guess my answer is I'm blind. His arm goes behind the guys leg, not in front as I originally thought. I change my answer. You guys were right, many apologies.
The LB was putting up a decent fight until the running back took out his knees from behind.
To be fair, I thought the same thing about it being a dirty play when I saw it from one angle (I think it was the video Golic Jr tweeted). From that angle it really did look like Mekhi went low and chopped at his knees. Then I saw the video from another angle and it was obvious Mekhi tripped when being blocked into and fell forwards. So I enlarged it and slowed it down, and I guess my answer is I'm blind. I had a similar experience! The slowed and enlarged version of MM's tweet showed me the light. To be fair, I thought the same thing about it being a dirty play when I saw it from one angle (I think it was the video Golic Jr tweeted). he's a very inspiring individual.Criminal Justice major? He will be one very intimidating cop.
he's a very inspiring individual.
he had zero scholarship offers.
he just seems so positive and he sure smiles a lot. a lot better than some people who are always negative.
you always hear the coaches say that one thing you can control is your attitude and effort, each and every day.The phrase "livin' the dream" comes to mind
That’s a little steep— i would expect the Iowa player to improve so he wouldn’t get blocked like that before wishing he got banned from college football.
If that block happened to an Iowa player this place would want the guy banned from college football.
Sacked early in the 4th against Rutgers.you always hear the coaches say that one thing you can control is your attitude and effort, each and every day.
when you look at Schott, you think great attitude & obviously he is bringing the effort.
I just hope the offensive line continues to perform as we wait for Jackson to come back.
Has Stanley been officially sacked yet? I think the intentional grounding in game 1 officially was a sack, but other than that.....
I bet he gets a free agent deal after that
