Latest DMR poll. Turn out the lights, the Franken party is over.

Nice try, but......fail.

In two days......SCOREBOARD!
Yeah man, he only paid off porn stars with campaign funds, talked about moving on women like bitches, said he’d marry his daughter, and cheated on every wife he’s had not to mention the child-sex-ring allegation, all while his staff have to tell everyone that what he says on twitter isn’t what he actually means because he’s bonkers, and he’s parroting Nazi talking points. Oh, and by the time he gets on the ballot for 2024 he’ll be as old or older than Biden was when he was elected.

Red will probably win on Tuesday because republicans would rather be Russian than support democrats, even when republicans are stripping all their rights (I guess not white dudes), and trumps tax cuts are about to spring taxes on them that they’ll blame on Biden.

Blah, blah, blah. Turn the page.

I have no idea how these races are going to turn out....but I am not even looking at any polls. Both sides should be cautious and just look at 2016 as a blueprint. That was a POLLING DISASTER. We will all know soon enough what will happen......I personally can't wait to cast my vote.

1) I always find it amusing when posters poo-poo poll results they don't find favorable, only to cheer the ones that they do
2) polls this year increasingly feel like they've fluctuated A TON
3) on the sunday before the election, i feel like my basic stance hasn't changed much. GOP will win the House, Dems will add a seat or two and keep the Senate.

Wanna bet?

Hey, Grassley is inexplicably very appealing to the die-hard righties in Iowa. It certainly defies any form of rational logic, especially for the older generation who will overwhelmingly support him in spite of his opposition to many of their self interests. And then there is his embrace of Trump and sucking up to him at every opportunity to ensure the Maga vote. You really can't get any lower than this!

Ah, you don’t research before spouting off. Got it. I wonder which way you’re voting on Tuesday. Hmm.

I did my research and quoted you exactly. You are trying to backtrack now. I wonder which way you voted already. I will go out on a limb and guess you are an early voter who couldn't wait to get all the facts.

Even 538 admits the whole election is within the margin of error. Neither side should take it for granted.

Now I freely admit. I expect the Rs to take both chambers. But at the same time if the Dems hold onto one, or even both chambers, I wouldn't be surprised. There's a good chance this whole election will be dicided but just a few points. And the side that ignores that urgency to turnout will probably be the one to get burned.

I would agree EXCEPT anything with "Selzer and Iowa" connected has a very good chance of ringing true.

"He" (how inclusive of you), would be better off running as a partial term incumbent.
Maybe he/she would be in a good situation to win a new 6 yr term, but that is not better off for anyone--not Iowans, Americans even Republicans. Of course it worked for the Gov. but not Ford. No., Chuck who used to an honorable Repubber, has lost his last bit of honor.

Trying to wade my through that garbled mess of a response....

You have no way of knowing if this would be/wouldnt be better for anyone because
1) Its a hypothetical situation
2) about a hypothetical nameless/faceless person

Not strange at all.. More honorable--if Grassley thinks he won't or can't go 6 years--to bow out now. Let a younger Republican get some experience running for office--even if he would lose, he would be better off for a future run. And frankly, I don't trust Reynolds' pick for the office..
I am sure she will worry about that fact!!

Aren't we talking about hypothetical situations anyway, Mr.(or Mrs.) Mess?
