These two jackwads spent all game rooting for Wisky, telling everyone how great Madison is, and how every little thing they do there is "the be all to end all." Then when Iowa holds at the end, there is silence and complete depression -- at least try to hide your partisanship a little. I guess I shouldn't have expected anything better from BSPN

I thought Huard had good insight--he watched tape of Iowa recently and could predict what they were going to do on 2nd or 3rd down--Most teams know what Iowa is going to do, they have to stop them though!

During the broadcast, I got the feeling that they were over selling the game because the network suits were afraid everyone would tune out becaus of the style of play of the two teams. They seemed to be trying too hard to keep the viewer from turning the channel. Part of that constant sell to stay tuned was the teaser about the jump around coming at the start of the 4th quarter etc. I didn't really think they were pulling for WI. They were in love with Shobert, but he single handily kept WI in the game. I thought they were very complimentary toward Ferentz, King, and Beatherd. I had no issues with the crew.

Levy must have been working with a hangover because he was brutally bad. Just miserable. He mispronounced or outright screwed up several player names. Then he got a boner for the approaching "jump around" song and stuttered over several play calls.

My favorite Levy idiot moment was when he wondered out loud if the comparatively lower B10 scores had allowed all the other football conferences to pass the B10 some years ago. THEN Huard reminded him that OSU and MSU are presently ranked #1 and #2 in the country and OSU won a national title just last year.

Levy was an idiot. Do some research. It's Matt Vandeberg, not Mike. We are the Hawkeyes, not the Buckeyes. It's Desmond King, not Devon. And CJ is the teams third leading rusher, not second. And all that was first quarter. Brock was OK. You could tell they both wanted to be at an sec game, and not a defensive struggle in Madison.

I think Brock huard is pretty solid announcer and very knowledgable. Lot more worse options we could of had. Don't think they were overly biased one way or the other and plenty of compliments for both sides. As for the love for Wisky LB Scobert the way he played today he deserved it.

Couldn't believe they didn't have a shot of the Iowa sideline after the 4th down pass was incomplete. Instead we got a shot of Stave walking off the field. Would've loved to see the sidelines going bonkers after that pass fell incomplete.

Announcers have to cover 20-30 teams during the season. If you're good enough to be in the national conversation, they will have heard of your players many times before a game. If you've been off the radar, there will be mistakes with names, etc. I never get too worked up (Mike vs. Matt) when we're not on the national radar.

I don't know. I don't think the game was as ugly as people say it was. Sure, there were a few botched plays but a lot of the turnovers and low score was just due to two defenses having a much better day than the two offenses did.

I thought these guys did a good job, especially Huard. He called many of the "tendencies" for both teams and was correct on many of the play calls. Didn't detect any homer-ism either way. I'd be happy if they called another Iowa game. Much better than the other options for the most part,

If you had actually watched the Iowa/ISU game, you would know that Gus mispronounced almost every player on the roster.
