If we are a 9 seed we wont even make it to the next round to get blown out by the number 1 seed.
Without our threes we are in the bottom 3 of the big ten

So, we made 6 threes against Michigan in our first meeting we won, 74-59.Like I said in another thread, this team needs to shoot 25 three's a game and hope to hit at least 10-12.
There is not enough talent anywhere else on the team to overcome good competition like Michigan. There are enough shooters.
Problem is, on nights like these that's a recipe for losing by 20 points when you don't hit those shots.

Michigan made 8..............
Ehh, I dont know. Sounds like excuses to me.Michigan made 8 on 32% overall shooting that night, complete reversal of last night.
I would chalk that up more to Michigan's poor play than Iowa's great play.
Every now and then even the best teams have bad shooting nights. Which is why I never put too much stock into games like last night as to where Iowa is as a program

Every once in a while, bad 3-pt shooters hit a streak too. Z. Simpson has hit 5/6 from 3 vs IA and MN the last 2 games and is still hitting just under 30% for the year. If he continues that streak, they have a good shot vs MSU tomorrow.Michigan made 8 on 32% overall shooting that night, complete reversal of last night.

!00% agree.I'm really, really, really, realllllllly hoping Joe T can be that guard that can drive and dish and create shots for everyone else next year.
