So let me get this straight...this is the type of kid you want in the room? Because I don't. It's one thing to drink and fight (granted you don't just go and attack people) and bang ugly chicks, it's another to be involved in a robbery.
My cousin was involved in the exact same manner it sounds like. He was there while his buddies broke into cars. His friends said that he was not involved and still he was charged because he deserved to be. He was being a follower and not a leader and as a result, he went off of someone else's moral compass and not his own. I don't feel bad for him and never will, he was a dumbass on that day. If he was a starter or simply in a D1 room, then I would've had no problem with him being sent home and not allowed back there. If I'm a recruits parents and I know my son would be hanging around that type of kid, it would turn me off. We don't want that associated with our program.
Seems a little overboard. First off, not every kid is or can be a "leader." Second, this is potentially a great opportunity for a teaching moment about life. Not just for Logan but everyone on the team. I don't know the details of this case but to just blindly claim he should not be given another chance for this offense seems shortsighted.
