So, a good strategy is to foul the opposition when you’re up 5 points late?
Choked that one away. And they were about ready to kill each other going into the locker room at half time with an 11 point lead. What’s that locker room lookin like now?
Normally I’d be bummed with a B1G loss, but I’ll make an exception to see arrogant Izzo go down.
Was Michigan State even in the Big Ten or NCAA tournament(s)? I don’t recall seeing them in either
Aaron Henry is one of my fav non-Iowa B1g players. Guy is so smooth and plays under control. Like Langford's sweet jumper too. Beyond that, MSU looks like an MVC team. Watts is not very good. Hauser is so overhyped it is ridiculous. Izzo puts him in the game at crunch time and he throws a gravy entry pass 4 feet wide for Henry.
I don’t disagree but Henry should have easily caught that pass if he didn’t reach for it with his left (inside) hand.
Yeah if Fran did that we'd be getting columns about how fran is unfit to be a coach. What Izzo did was ridiculous.
Would they if Fran had won a national title and been to multiple final fours?

Call me nuts, but I root for all Big Ten teams in the tourneys.
I was disappointed by MSUs meltdown.
It brought back bad memories of recent Hawk blown late leads, like at Minny this year.
It also drove home the devastation of losing in this deal, especially early.
Boom.
Season over.
Each win is to be cherished, not taken for granted. Winning is hard in this thing.
I am nervous that MSU, one of the hotter teams in the league with wins over Mich,OSU, ECT goes out and loses to one of the coldest teams in the allegedly weaker Pac 12.
What does that mean for the rest of the Big Ten?
Is the league overrated?

F- Michigan State and F- Tom Izzo. I enjoyed watching Izzo's team fall apart.
I don’t think we will see a Big 10 team in the Final 4... Lots of good clubs out there and this time of year is when some surprise teams make an unexpected run.
Good point. That was odd. I can't recall seeing a guy reach for a pass with their inside hand like that.
I'd say it's more likely that none make it than 2 or 3 do, like so many people are saying. Yes, the Big 10 is good. But the lessened play OOC this year makes it so that we really don't know how good the various conferences are. Iowa beat UNC. Illinois lost to Missouri. Michigan played absolutely no one in the non-conference. All these teams are good by my eyeball test, but there are other good teams out there too.

Lefty’s do odd things. The funny thing is that he really uses his right hand extremely well.
The reach across his body guffaw was not missed by the announcers as well.
