Lol Texas acquits Paxton

Comment on this article https://www.washingtonpost.com/nation/2023/09/16/texas-attorney-general-paxton-impeachment-verdict/ at the Wash Post that I thought was on-point:

"Pretty much reinforces what the republican party has done for the last 40 years, weaponize the judiciary. If you are on our team you are never guilty of anything. If you are on the other team we will investigate you until we find something that sounds even remotely wrong and try to inprison you for it."

But again, a huge issue here is that the old people running the Democratic Party and the consultants don't want to run on any of this, they want to pretend it's some imaginary time in the past and run on pocketbook issues "Bidenomics". Infuriating.

"Both sides" media and timid and clueless Democratic party leaders allow the Republicans to control the narrative when it comes to scandal per both parties.

You think politician have any power over anything? They come and go.

The bureaucratic empires are what's running this country.

Paxton in Texas is going to be the template for Trump in the rest of the US. Party over country, and he's going to go scorched Earth against all that spoke ill of him.
He’s basically said as much. He wants to dismantle how the government works so he can control everything. As of right now, if any Republican gets the White House things could go south pretty quickly. If it’s Trump….really really bad for what our forefathers built.

Any time the Bush Crime Family can be dealt a blow it's a good day for America. Dems seem to have forgotten that old George stole not one, but two, elections for his simple-minded spawn. They tried to impeach Paxton so that George Pee Bush could be installed in an attempt to keep their pathetic dynasty going. Losers.
