LSU goes down

Van Lith definitely looks lost out there and not having any fun. Only 1 ball for 5 superstars.
I suspected this would happen and Mulkey doesn't seem like building team chemistry is a coaching strength for her. But we'll see, she seems to get her teams playing well come tournament time so there's still time for her to get them playing better.

Meanwhile, UCLA is getting beat by USC 34-19 at halftime. 19 points at halftime?

JuJu Watkins with 16 at the half.

Wow! At least she was wearing team colors kinda and didn't look like a flamingo threw up on her lol

Well, not really an excuse but team chemistry is important.
100%. I just think it's funny back when these superstars were announcing their transfers to LSU what a splash it made, but that comes with expectations and the fact that they just got punked by a team that's 1-3 in conference is hilarious. Chemistry or not, with the talent Mulkey has assembled there's no excuse for them not going undefeated in the regular season. SC did it last year with less talent.

Doubt Kim will say it was a MISTAKE by her to put Reese at the point for that last play. (arrogance).
Unless the play was set up to be a give and go which by the looks of it would have failed. Angel had her moment to be the stud and had her pocket cleanly picked. Kimmy will give no praise to Auburn she'll only talk about her team and probably the refs!

Per the Auburn coach, they knew exactly what Mulkey and Reese were going to do and had planned all week for it:

JaMya Mingo-Young stole the ball from LSU’s Angel Reese with 10.4 seconds remaining in regulation to seal the victory. She hit both free throws to put Auburn up by two possessions.

“We guarded that play all week,” Auburn head coach Johnnie Harris said. “We knew, from the way (Reese) caught the ball, what she was going to do. We knew that she was gonna drive it in that situation. ... Once she put it down, we knew she was going to score. She wasn’t going to pass it.”
