You know me…. I’m pretty shy.
His admission to any school/program is going to require sign off by an administrator, given his history. He/they will have to build a case.
That said, despite not being a fan of AJF, I have a hard time believing he wouldn’t ultimately be approved. Well, unless his issues are even bigger than we know.

Seems like he has kept his nose clean since he’s been out of school, and those charges were dropped. Seems like only hurdle would be class credits. I feel at this point, the reward is worth the risk. I may not have felt that way 2 years ago.

I think he has the potential to win over a lot of fans if he can bring in some humility and respect. Not saying he has to become a nun, but many of us could do without the nonstop "look at me. Everything is about me". If he comes on and promotes the team and his teammates and wins dominantly, but with some respect (similarly to how Gable Steveson matured and developed), that'd go a long way to redeeming his past reputation.
Either way if he's going to be competing and winning, it'll be easier to endure watching him do it putting up points for Iowa than for Oklahoma State.
No doubt keeping his nose clean is paramount. But I don’t think it is unfair to say there’s a lot more to him than just those dropped charges. Perhaps he has grown up and it won’t be difficult to convey that to the Iowa admin. But it does have to be done.
Is Rathjen in the doghouse or just pretty much done? He really looked promising at 149 last year.
Seems like she might have more integrity than all of our coaches combined

If Ybarra beats Teske we're in big f'ing trouble at 33...just based on watching Ybarra at 25...
I think we know what we’re getting with Teske. He’s likely a R12 contender, with a punchers chance at getting on the podium with an upset win or too. I enjoy watching our guys scrap however.

They should meet up in the finals. Hope Brands lets them go. Id like to see how Ferrari is doing against good competition.
They will definitely wrestle each other. That's why Iowa sent guys so they can compete
He probably wouldn't wrestle for 5 minutes all day tbh.
With the the guys projected to wrestle at those weights I'm thinking:
- Ayaly: 1-5. If healthy all year I really think Ayala can go on a run and win it all.
- Woods: 1
- Franek: 2-4
- Caliendo: 3-5
- AJ @ 97: 1-2
- AJ @ HWT: 2-4

Anthony Ferrari with the 2nd period tech fall 17-2 vs kid from Coe.
Teske didn’t look great was down 6-1 at one point. Came back and won 18-11 I believe.
Caliendo with the early second period tech 17-1
