I have a suggestion for House Speaker.
Couple rounds like this you may start to see some defections from Jordan camp? One can hope at least

Yeah. We all know it's a Dem problem and the Dems fault.......or the 208 other folks that voted to toss McCarthy.
He had 20 nos. He can only absorb 4. This round went just as bad as it possibly could have gone for Jordan given the info we had going in.
It'll be tough for him now. Rs voted for people not even in Congress in this round.

Some nos came from deep red districts. It's hard to figure out what's wrong with Republicans these days beyond each one loving chaos and drawing attention to themselves.
Maybe some want their wheels greased more. Others understand how big of a shit show Jordan will be. And are worried of being sucked in.

Trump and the Matt Gaetz crew wanted him gone.
I have no problem laying the blame on the R's for being a dysfunctional mess.

Hey Bins - clearly Hakeem Jeffries is ready to lead the House. Why aren't you blaming these Republicans for not giving him the few extra votes he needs to be Speaker, deal with the Middle East situation and resume funding Ukraine?
There are plenty but this is the only reason you need to vote against Jordan.
I don't blame D's for letting the Republicans shoot themselves in the face. Pretty enticing politically and the R's would have done the same if the situations were reversed.
Just can't get over them all voting with Matt Gaetz to blow up the house...thought a few would vote to prevent that. Given that Ukraine aid and the next CR are up in the air.
The current shit show was the inevitable result given the 15 votes it took McCarthy to get the speakership in the first place. Not like this is coming as shock.
It's definitely a political W for the D's though...puts R dysfunction on full display.
The country loses, but oh well.
