The Miami two, I believe, are solid NOs. No amount of threats from the national party will scare them. Diaz-Balart’s family in Miami is an institution. They aren’t quite like the Kennedy family in Massachusetts but it’s close. Gimenez was county mayor down there for two terms. It is unlikely that a threat of a primary from someone more crazy will move them.
That means two others, who have similar standing and independence back home, and aren’t insane, are needed to stop this stupidity.
The problem is, any holdouts will be portrayed as not only objecting to Jordan, but keeping government from operating, defense from being funded, etc etc etc
They might publicly lodge their objections and vote for him anyway just to be done with this mess.
