If he’s the GOP nominee for governor, that should be a very winnable governorship for Dems, at least based on Floridians who post here Goetz does not seem popular outside his district.
But Jordan still wants to drive the clown car, even though no one wants him to.
All these MAGA types (which is half the GOP now or more) want to be the Head clown. They have no actual clue what to do and always fail to read the room.
It's amazing how unaware they all seem to be.

There was never a mechanism where a single rep could call for the Speaker’s ouster just because. This House can’t pass anything without triggering that. There is no path for bipartisan cooperation that won’t trigger the nut jobs.

Whatever the timeline, lots of stuff has to be done and correctly. A leader Pro Tem is not insurance against the radicals. The Republicans weren't functioning before the collapse and why is there confidence things will improve? Doesn't this mean she has provided the evidence by testimony, tape, oral, or written? If so, the evidence is in possession of the prosecution, and she can't recant without perjuring, which would be a felony.
