Make or break Democratic meeting today for Joe

This is a dumb game. Let me simplify it for you.

The fact that it's Biden v. Trump (again) for the most important elected position is absolutely pathetic and speaks volumes about the American people. It's not the system, or the media, or the deep state. It's "we the people" that suck.
If I thought there was any chance in hell an Abe Lincoln could pop up from small town Illinois and actually make it to Washington I would agree. We the people get brought the illusion of choice by the powers that want the pieces in front of us.

“The most important thing for Democrats or for the country is to beat Donald Trump,” Sen. Brian Schatz (D-HI) said upon arriving back in DC. “And we just arrived. And so it's important that we have in person family conversations about the best way to do that. And I'm not going to comment further.”

This sums it up for D's. It's all about beating Don the Con. It's not about policy, it's not about the future of the country, it's not about healing the country and repairing the divide between the parties. It's all about keeping power!

I swear Democrats are terrible at reading the room.
R's aren't any better. If Haley was the R candidate Joe would be down 10-15 pts right now. Because it's Trump it's still within the margin of error.

In a weird way Trump keeps Joe in the race because Joe still has a legit shot at beating him and Trump has a decent shot at beating Joe....50/50. Weird dynamic. They need each other.

“Spin” is a waste of time. Those in their cult suck down the info from their team like Coca-Cola and their other team just assumes it’s a lie.

Get out and see what happens.

Ok so let's say that Biden is finally convinced that he has to drop out of the race? How can you spin it? He can't exactly say, "Yeah you are all right, I've lost it"
My prediction:

He admits to having a "Parkinson's-like condition" (there is a whole slew of "Parkinson's-like disorders, and he has symptoms consistent with them) but not actual Parkinson's disease. This allows them to claim they did not "lie" when denying he has or has been treated for Parkinson's.

This will allow him to step-down to "focus on his health."

Honestly, if I were him, I'd do it NOW - and allow Kamala Harris the power of incumbent presidency to run in his place. He likely will want to finish out his first-term, however, so I think that is what will happen.

I believe this announcement will be made before the end of July.

Just putting it down in writing in case I'm right and I get to tell you knobs how smart I am going forward. ;)

If the Democrats allow a clearly diminished and increasingly inapable-of-performing Joe Biden be their POTUS nominee, they will deserve the ass-kicking they receive.

He got lots of decent things done in his first-term and served as an able figurehead, but that is no longer possible.

He needs to get the f---k out of the way and let the younger generation of Democrats lead.

Biden is becoming as arrogant as Trump.

The George Stephanopoulos interview proved that in addition to confirming Biden’s marbles aren’t all there.

Chis is unknowingly towing the R party line on this.

DId you read the WSJ article? Biden had to have meetings no later than 8 p.m. when dealing with allies in Europe - afternoon naps, long breaks.

German officials, aware of Biden’s fatigue at night, sought to accommodate the president by planning a June 2022 event with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz in the early evening.

The informal event, a soiree at the Alpine resort Schloss Elmau during the Group of Seven summit, was arranged as a confidential meeting on Ukraine in a relaxed setting. Biden didn’t show, surprising the chancellor and his aides, officials said. Instead, Secretary of State Antony Blinken arrived and announced that Biden had to go to bed, according to two people who were there.
During a fundraiser at the Four Seasons in New York in June 2023, Biden spoke for five to 10 minutes and then took a few questions, said attendees who bought a ticket. They were struck by how fragile he seemed. At one point, Biden couldn’t recall the word for “veteran.” The president asked the group to help him find the word, saying he wanted to refer to a person who had served in the Army or Navy.

This CANNOT be our commander-in-chief.

Arrogance aside, biden has no control over his emotional state. Did you see how quick he was to anger and threaten? Weak men with power and scarier than strong men with power (random thought of the day)

Earliest post of me discussing bidens mental state and the democratic war machine using him as a puppet.

What emotional state?

Biden’s emotions shifted from confused and insipid to confused and constipated.

Where did you ever see actual emotion?

The most telling picture of Biden’s insipidness was during the debate when Trump would start speaking and Biden would snap his head back to the moderators with a dumbfounded look. The times that Biden actually tried to speak passionately by throwing out glib insults at Trump about him paying off porn stars or calling military members suckers and losers, they were uttered with absolute frailness. Trump barely reacted to them because they were just so weak and pathetic.

That’s Biden’s “emotional” state right now.

Nice. The Parkinsons doctor said he has Parkinsons. 100%.

I strongly agree with most of this but disagree with one point - it's the system that doesn't give us a choice. It's the electoral college who gives Wyomingans triple the voting power of Californians. Big media and big money brainwash the masses into their preferences and lets be honest, neither cares who wins because they've hedged their bets. Ultimately it's the people who suffer.

I agree that people are responsible for their beliefs and choices, but it's hard to blame them fully when the deck is stacked against them in this new era of misinformation and declining media literacy. People are dumb, no doubt, but the powers that be love the uneducated. They create a political and social war to distract us all from a class war.
