I don't have a problem with Big Sam not wrestling, but if Holloway is there and considered a HWT., you wrestle him.
This. Holloway didn’t come to Iowa to not wrestle. If I were him I’d rather stay home than travel and not wrestle. He could’ve gone to UNI and gotten mat time. Not to mention we are Iowa, we should never have to forfeit. I’d rather Holloway got stuck than we forfeit.I don't have a problem with Big Sam not wrestling, but if Holloway is there and considered a HWT., you wrestle him.

While I agree Costello is a better hwt backup than Holloway and given the cass situation should not redshirt this year, Costello was better served this weekend getting more matches to better prepare him for emergency duty. Also this move seemed premeditated. Holloway should’ve been around 220 for the dual. He’s clearly not going to be a starter at 197 and you’re more likely gonna be sitting Stoll than Wilcke due to injury history.I don’t really want to see him give up 50 pounds to a top ten guy. If we really wanted to get crazy, we should have brought Costello along and have him for the rest of the season for spot duty. With Cassioppi coming in, the best chance for Costello to get quality mat time is now. He can always redshirt later and be ready to go now in an emergency situation.
Please refrain from using the D-word.What about a hat made by DuPont?
Probably playing it safe on the knee but last I heard, his rehab was going great.
