Mazda shatters North American sales records with no EVs in the lineup....

Hey, it's okay to like the car you purchased. Its just funny and notable about how much you crow about Mazda now.

There are some aspects that make this amusing <to me>, esp when you comment the far left about their focus on emotions when your little heart swells about your current vehicle, and you feel the need to fan boy it on the forum. It's just amusing, thats all. Just making a comment, not attacking you.

I'm pretty sure I crowed a lot about my Honda CR-V on this forum. And indeed it was the best car I've ever owned until Bambi decided to jump in front of it.

Didn't you say your current Mazda had some ultra-high compression engine in it, and was a speed demon going from 0-60mph?

CSB I was just reading how their sales are rising in India due to the demand for lower priced SUVs. They are status, and good on the poorly maintained roads.

US Vehicle Sales Rose In Q4, Automakers Say.

The New York Times (1/3, Boudette) says, “Automakers closed 2024 with strong sales in the United States in the final three months of the year, helped by a surge in demand for electric models.” According to the Times, the “gains were led by General Motors, which said on Friday that its fourth-quarter sales rose 21 percent from a year earlier, to more than 755,000 cars and light trucks. Its electric-vehicle sales in the quarter more than doubled, to nearly 44,000, making G.M. the second-largest E.V. seller after Tesla. Ford Motor sold more than 530,000 vehicles in the quarter, a gain of nearly 9 percent. Ford’s E.V. sales climbed 16 percent, to more than 30,000 vehicles. Honda Motor reported a gain of 9 percent in the fourth quarter, while Hyundai and Nissan each said their sales climbed 10 percent.”

The above shows that electric models are driving sales for the industry. Interesting that for GM it's still a relatively small slice of the pie, but growing.

Do you have the forward collision warning enabled? I have different levels with my fcw and had to turn it to the lowest setting to prevent that happening.
Thanks for the suggestion! I thought I had turned it off in the settings but it comes back on everytime you start it! So yeah I'm gonna try both turning it off completely each time (derp just like the I-stop) and just having it set to the lowest setting. We'll see how it goes, maybe there is hope. Thanks again
