McCaffrey From Nebraska: He Gone

History is not on his side. Nebby hasn't had a TE drafted since he's been alive.
Yeah, if you have a QB that can't get you the ball, you ain't getting noticed. Gonna have to be a lot of jet sweeps for FiDONE to touch the ball.

He’d get broke in half unless he bulked up like his brother Christian.

Also, his other brother Dylan, qb at Michigan is transferring too. Makes me wonder if they are planning to go to a school out west. Stanford?
Colorado or Colorado St could be a possibility.

Fidone would make the NFL even if he went to Coe College...has the height, length, speed etc, Iowa fans are delusional.

I'd take him here in a minute....if....he agreed to switch to WR. He's definitely not a QB, doesn't have the build as a RB. I think he could be a very solid WR. His Dad was a pretty decent WR

Even these guys know Frost is a whiny little B. They clapped too loud and made our center hike the ball 5 yards over our QBs head!

Frosty is circling the drain Fusker land. If he has another poor season this year, (which is likely), the big money donors will want him shown the door.

Maybe you are right. I think you are smart enough to realize where you get drafted and your signing bonus is huge your first year. If he wants to get drafted as a FA good for him. I think most intelligent people would like to get that guaranteed money. It's also nice to go to some bowl games.

I wouldn't. They fired Solich and then Pelini. While Husker fans will be quick to say there were other factors involved with Pelini's ouster, it's a pretty safe bet those factors become immaterial had Pelini ever won a conference championship or put Nebraska in the conversation for national title contention. The bottom line is Pelini was fired because Nebraska erroneously thought they were still a blue blood in college football and could do better.

The truth is Nebraska is no more an attractive coaching destination than Iowa State, Iowa, or any other Midwest school. Hell, I would argue it's less attractive because of the fan base and unrealistic expectations.

Spot On! The Bug Eaters, dreaming of glory days, got bored with Pelini, etc.. I looked it up the other day for a post and I think Pelini had no fewer than 9 wins and like all but two seasons at 10 wins. Really good record. The fanbase was outraged at his failure, as were the donors who really do run Nebraska football. Pelini did not help himself by being an asshole to everyone-like the guys that write the $150,000 checks and the like. Now they are a Lickliter like laughing stalk. Nebraska is a prime example of what I mean by most coaching changes do not work out. Let us not forget that for all but the last ten years or so Nebraska is treated by the league and the media like the Blue Blood they once were-before Bill Clinton's second term.

Panic set in around here when Frost started bringing in 4* and 5* recruits. Nebraska was going to make old Kirk Ferentz look like the 1970s. Now, as of 2021 Nebraska has no players on the roster that have ever beaten Iowa or had a better season than Iowa.

Just saw posted, McCaffery to Iowa as a running back. I'd take a shot on that....probably not let him pull the trigger though. Maybe in some funky options. We had the poorest quarterbacking Iowa has seen in a decade...and it was still better than Nebraska's collection of 5*s and media darlings.

Good to see Nebby keeping the streak alive by winning the off-season!

Hey Frost....are the BIG teams modifying their system to you yet? Lol

What a dbag...and the husker media like Sipple eat it up. Huge circle jerk over there thinking about the 90s

Little Debbie has lost AT LEAST 4 GAMES FOR 17 STRAIGHT SEASONS.

Frank Solich (Pelini coached the bowl game?) went 10-3 in 2003. That team was ranked as high as #10 in the country.

Here is a look at the 17 years since that 10-3 season in 2003:
..........................................
2004: 5-6 Bill Callahan (4 years)
2005: 8-4
2006: 9-5
2007: 5-7
..........................................
2008: 9-4 Bo Pelini (7 years)
2009: 10-4
2010: 10-4
2011: 9-4
2012: 10-4
2013: 9-4
2014: 9-4
..........................................
2015: 6-7 Mike Riley (3 years)
2016: 9-4
2017: 4-8
..........................................
2018: 4-8 Scott Frost (3 years)
2019: 5-7
2020: 3-5

Win the West or bust next season?

Frost hasn't finished higher than 5th in the B1G West in his 3 seasons at Debbie.

“I’m expecting a lot more in year four out of Scott” has a slightly different ring to it than saying they’ve got Harbaugh and Meyer “running scared a little bit,” or maybe that’s just my take...

Lol they are going to be so freaking bad this next year. They may not win more than three games.
One thing you can pretty much bet the house on each year for the past decade or two is that Debbie will win EXACTLY three conference games. It’s uncanny. Even the years where I’ve thought they were really bad, those bastards somehow prove me wrong and win three games. I have to give them credit for that, I suppose...

This is so funny. Now AM has no threat to be replaced. Nebby's win total for next season dropped again.
Your post shows how little you know about NU.

Mac was no threat to replace any qb, including our 4th or 5th stringers on the bench. His dad is the coach at N. Colorado (Hall of Fame NFL receiver), wants his sons to play qb. (his son at Michigan is also hitting the transfer portal becuz he too was second string QB)

All Mac he did in 2 games as a starter was throw 6 interceptions. He is one of the worst D 1 qb's I've ever watched play. Every one of his passes are wobbly, cant throw a spiral.. Always threw into 2 or 3 deep coverage. Just awful.

He does have some legs and can run, very fast - 4.5 speed. Frost approached him to convert him into starting slot receiver or RB, or both. But, apparently at the advice of his father, he demanded to only play qb. Frost wanted him to switch over next year.

He want to play QB in college for some reason. If that's what he wants to do, its best he leave in the portal, becuz he'll never see the field again as NU as a QB.

Its a head scratcher why he wants to play QB, becuz he could be all conference as a wide out, and play in the NFL at that position.

I wish him well.

They can claim they got Meyer to leave league too due to all that scoring and lack of punting that forced him to retire....

Wait, much of what you said may or may not be accurate, but you are saying that your second string quarterback wasn't a threat to even the 4th or 5th string quaterbacks? He got all of the snaps that Martinez didn't take in 2020, but he's not better than the 4th or 5th string guys? If that is true, UN's coaching problems are even worse than it appears.
