McCaffrey From Nebraska: He Gone

25 scholarship player transfers in just over a year.

Debbie fans think its nothing. Journalists who follow the team beg to differ. The Huskers are a mess and it's not Mike Riley's fault.

Now do starters who entered the portal or had to leave for legal reasons and Nebraska was the only team that would touch them.
I can’t think of any for Iowa. There were a couple 2nd and 3rd string that left for PT. Nebraska had Washington, Robinson, Mccaffery, Spielman, Warner. Who am I missing?

Iowa's last B10 championship...1985 LMAO 🤣 Keep getting excited about NFL players and your 9 win banners!
Look you seek to live in the past So lets look at the past for head to head reference:

Since 1979 - 40 YEARS - Debbie 8 wins - Iowa 8 wins

Iowa 7-3 in Trophy games (yes those matter unlike the shitty 12 BIG is trophy and Rivalry based throughout)

I mean wow you’ve own Iowa mighty NE. Impressive.

Go a little further back in this time machine you all love to travel in when hit with current events and facts:

Since 1942 Iowa is 12 wins to Nebraska 9 wins head to head.

You have to go back to the glory years of NE football to get the win gap we see today (damn you guys killed it from 1903-1941 I must give you the props you truly deserve. I’m positive you still have those running on the VHS.

We live in the now and current. And for 40 years we are head to head even. The last 80 YEARS Iowa has 3 more wons over Nebraska head to head.

Shit the funk up already and let the facts slap you into reality. Iowa head to head is the better program since you papa been born. Stings I’m sure but facts r facts.

Dueces

Head to Head means nothing. Nebraska is a national program. Iowa is not.

Scott Frost is going to return Nebraska to glory and it’s going to be tough for Iowa fans to take.

😂

Iowa is one of several head to heads you can’t win.

They did just that tonight on the 6 o'clock newscast. They also said Riley couldn't recruit.
When does the Debbie media, the Debbie AD AND Scott Flop stop blaming Mike Riley for the CURRENT players & the CURRENT culture and start blaming Scott Flop?

How long does it take Flop to get rid of the Mike Riley players & the Mike Riley culture & create his own, disastrous culture?

Next year is Flop's 4th season. Does Flop take ownership of HIS players, HIS culture, & HIS failures next season? Or does Flop, the Debbie AD & the Debbie media wait until Year 5 or Year 6, when all of Mike Riley's recruits are no longer part of the program?

We knew Little Debbie fans and the the Debbie media were dumb AF but did we know they were THIS stupid?

Frost had a huge win already. After the stellar 3-5 season and little to no signs of improvement and rampant transferring out he avoided making significant staff changes. Huge win. Now when next year shows more of the same, dormant offense, mediocre defense, lack of discipline, transfers and a penchant for blaming others he will be able to ‘overhaul’ his staff and create more false enthusiasm and shifting of the blame and buy another year of avoiding his shortfalls. He just bought 2 more years.

From 2016 to 2019 Nebraska had 48/93 about 50% of their scholarship players were no longer even on the team. Therefore more young kids and walk-ons trying to contribute. Those are facts, not excuses. Now its on him to keep them and win games going fwd.

Next season will be the 18th consecutive season Little Debbie has lost at least 4 games.

That's truly pathetic.

Next season they will be lucky to go 4-8.

Scott Frost (3 years)
2018: 4-8
2019: 5-7
2020: 3-5
...........12-20 (.375)

But, but, he’s the savior, he was going to do what he did at UCF.

One other side bar to all the Nebraska stuff. The local Nebraska media has somehow painted the illusion that they have an elite defense coming back for 2021....when did that happen?....oh yea I forgot they dominated the other cellar dweller Rutgers in a game nobody cared about...Rutgers didn't even have the best QB available to make it more interesting.

One thing Nebraska will have next year...the oldest team in college football...as most of their defense has decided to make it a their life time career playing at Nebraska ....6 and 7th year for most of them....one guy is already 25 years old.....Pathetic.

No kidding, let's look at Nebraska's "elite" 2020 defensive stats and how they stack up against Iowa's D last season.

Total Defense: Nebraska 50th, Iowa 8th

Scoring Defense: Nebraska 64th, Iowa 6th

Rushing Defense: Nebraska 69th, Iowa 10th

Passing Efficiency Defense: Nebraska 78th, Iowa 12th

Red Zone Defense: Nebraska 57th, Iowa 7th

Average Nat'l Metric Ranking: Nebraska 63.6, Iowa 8.6

Elite? Aww hell no. And considering Frost has never shown to be able to field an elite defense, color me skeptical that there will be a HUGE upgrade in the offseason. I'll believe it when I see it.

No one is calling it 'elite' but it has def improved. Held Iowa to 2.9 ypc in the most recent game when usually Iowa runs over Nebraska.

Well our RB's averaged 3.7 and 3.6 ypc in that game. Please tell me you didn't include the sacks and Petras' 6 "carries" for six yards. Oddly enough, those guys you don't need for next year that transferred, average Luke 8.4 and Wandale 7 YPC, lol.

Serious question, before SF ever coached a game I remember hearing Scott Frost day like it was a state holiday. Is this still a real thing?

Would you rate it at or below the comic in terms of greatness?

Never mind found it. We have the internet around these here parts:

Sept. 1

Well, so much that the Huskers head coach is getting a whole day named in his honor. That's right, according to KOLN-TV, Nebraska Governor Pete Ricketts has declared Saturday, Sept. 1 as “Scott Frost Day” throughout the state, honoring the new head coach as the Cornhuskers open the 2018 football season.

LOL. This is everything anyone needs To know about Nebraska.

I for one cannot wait for the letter his mom writes when he’s shitcanned. Popcorn ready!

That may be the case, but it does not make the head coach look very good when the guy who The coach had claimed was the future of the program leaves. Frost just insinuated last week that McCaffrey had a chance to the the starting quarterback next year. He was probably trying to keep him on campus, but that does not inspire much confidence in the three year starting quarterback who is returning for his senior season.
Caf should go play for his dad if he wants to be QB. He's an athlete and would be a great Slot back\receiver\return specialist.
