Sorry, Ms. Screw. We need Michigan to beat Rutgers tonight

Screw Michigan, I’m rooting for Rutgers. I don’t think we have a realistic chance of catching them and I don’t want Michigan beating us in a tiebreaker for seeding.Sorry, Ms. Screw. We need Michigan to beat Rutgers tonight![]()
I want Michigan to finish as a 6 seed so that they face Wisconsin (who should be the 3) in the quarterfinals.
As long as Iowa is the 5th - or even 4th! - seed, I'm all about this ^.I want Michigan to finish as a 6 seed so that they face Wisconsin (who should be the 3) in the quarterfinals.
Agreed, but I would like to see a tight physically/emotionally draining triple over time game that wears both teams down. No blowout where starters get some rest. This RU@UM game is a win-win for Iowa, imo.
If Michigan wins, it brings Rutgers back a bit further into the pack and leaves them open for Iowa jumping them in the standings/BTT seeding - as long as Iowa finishes strong.
If Rutgers wins, it creates (more) separation between Iowa and Michigan. And lets face it, UM kinda deserves a shot of Karma from the fiasco of the @UW postgame - which would happen if they lose tonight. Also, a win tonight by Rutgers keeps solidifying their NCAA Tourney bi
Or a slappers chanceI thought Mi would have a hill to climb, but they have a punchers chance in this one.
Go Hoos!Duke up 30-25 @ UVa, halftime.
That game matters because Hawks need UVa to work their way into a Quad1 win for Iowa.
This game could mean quite a bit.Who wins in a 3 way tie of osu ru us?
If not us, i doubt this game matters...
This will give us an indication of "Life without Howard". Might be beneficial to us for Mar. 3.

RRRRRRRRRRRRRRR
UUUUUUUUUUUUU
Yeah, I heard he used to coach St. Joseph's. Seems to be having some success tonight.the acting head coach was always a good HC back in the day, imo.
now he's coaching more talented kids; will be interesting to see how he does
I'm hungry for chips n salsa!now i am hungry for some JERSEY MIKES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
i always root for @MrsScrew
SCREW anyone who doesn't root from Mrs Screw, who came to Iowa City the last time Iowa football hosted RU!!!

now i am hungry for some JERSEY MIKES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Kind of a side note. I wish that Minny could somehow beat Wisky later. Probably would not happen but...This game could mean quite a bit.
And who's looking forward to hosting some Iowa fans when you come to NJ in October.
Ironically, I've never had it. But you need to try Pork Roll...food of the NJ Gods
Right now, however, I'm nauseous watching this game and all I can say is
ARGHHHHHHHH
52-51 Duke, w/ 3:48 left in the game.Go Hoos!
Re: “Iowa keeps playing the way they have for 5 of the last 6 games, they can finish 3-1 & 12-8 overall.”:
Did Iowa really play worse in the Michigan loss than in the other 5 games, or did we just lose?
I will immediately need brain bleach afterwards, but if rooting for Minny means them beating Wisky, I'll sacrifice myself for it.Kind of a side note. I wish that Minny could somehow beat Wisky later. Probably would not happen but...
Not to mention Keegan uncharacteristically missing 2 dunks - to go along with his cramping problems - and 3 dunks missed overall. Multiple missed FTs by KeM and the whole team.we played poorly vs Michigan
We were up 2 at the half and got outscored by 7 in the 2nd half
11 turnovers
we shot 4-18 (22%) from 3
we got outrebounded 40-37
I don't think ru goes 1-3 but possibleThis game could mean quite a bit.
A Michigan win tonight + an Illinois win tomorrow night vs OSU + a Hawkeye win in Lincoln on Friday night would put the standings at; 4th OSU 10-6, 5th RU 10-7 and 6th Iowa 10-7.
Remaining schedule for all 3 teams;
Ohis St (10-5):
@ Illinois tomorrow night
@ Maryland on Sunday
vs Nebraska on 3/1
vs Michigan St on 3/3
vs Michigan on 3/6
Rutgers (10-6):
@ Michigan, down 2 at halftime right now
vs Wisconsin on Saturday - beat Wisky in Madison, so should be a big game for UW
@ Indiana on 3/2
vs Penn St on 3/6
Iowa (9-7):
@ Nebraska on Friday
vs Northwestern on 2/28
@ Michigan on 3/3
@ Illinois on 3/6
Other than vs Nebraska for OSU and vs Penn St for Rutgers, there is not a "mark it down" win on either remaining schedule.
Iowa keeps playing the way they have for 5 of the last 6 games, they can finish 3-1 & 12-8 overall.
All it takes is a couple more bobbles after losing @ ILL tomorrow night for OSU, Rutgers hitting a roadbump and drops each of next 3 (including tonight), & Iowa finishing 12-8 - then the final standings would be;
4 Iowa 12-8 [owns tiebreaker vs OSU]
5 OSU 12-8
6 RU 11-9
Until it doesn't happen, I'm keeping the faith.I don't think ru goes 1-3 but possible
I kept a bet and bought some Minnesota socks to wear after they gifted Iowa the big ten west title. I wore them once and threw them away.I will immediately need brain bleach afterwards, but if rooting for Minny means them beating Wisky, I'll sacrifice myself for it.
