Mich QB Speight

He stopped rowing?
I would imagine the Fleck shit gets old, in a hurry, for the players. He's one of the best self promoters in recent memory. I bet his headset is actually tuned in to a spotter that informs him where the tv cameras are pointing.
Running onto the field for player injuries, chest bumping a player after a good play(didn't see that one so much), planting the "change the culture" motto to the media, and other cheesy moves are gimmicks for high school coaches. At WMU... he's a big fish in a little pond. Now he's a tiny fish in a big ocean.
Not many coaches can translate a 9-4 team into a 5-7 team. The Fleckster pulled it off.
He'll be gone before his contract expires.

And my favorite from yesterday's game... attempting a field goal while trailing 30-0.

The article you posted claims NFL teams are actively rooting against Michigan because they want to hire Harbaugh. That's it. That isn't "talk of Harbaugh going back to the NFL", its nonsense clickbait. And you apparently fell for it.
Oh ok my bad

What article are you reading? I was able to read an article about Harbaugh & him potentially leaving.

NFL teams may think they can go after him, does anyone know if Harbaugh would even be receptive? I mean, he doesn't play well with others and doesn't fit into the NFL culture very well. At Michigan, he's still got two or three more years of losing to Ohio State before they start to catch on that he can't coach a quarterback. More if he can win a few other big games here and there.

Speight was the victim of an awful looking late hit that really crumpled him over vs Purdue. It wasn’t called, and he hasn’t played a down since. Harbaugh was really steamed about it in the press conference after the game.

Too bad. He won the job. I suspect he would be the starter next year.

I thought they said he was a red shirt freshman? My bad if not. Played like a freshman.

He actually spent 2 years playing at Houston before transferring to Michigan. I think he did redshirt before playing the last 2 years.

I have to admit, i like the "camera spotter" idea.
That or he pipes in a little Corey Hart "Sunglasses at Night" since he thinks he looks so cool.

My memory is awful but when Jake Rudock transfer to Michigan wasn't it to play for a year because Michigan had 4 or 5 big time QB that were Freshman and bringing in a couple more 5 stars what happen.

Like Iowa’s inability to recruit wide receivers?

Yes we struggle at that spot but it is totally different.

Michigan is a blue blood with a long QB history. JH has recruited really well, why cant he get a QB.

Iowa doesn't throw the ball much comparatively and we dont have a great lineage in the NFL of WRs.

I think you are correct and i think O'Korn was one. He was supposed to be a stud QB recruit that Houston got and was transferring to Mich. Also i think Mich has McCaffery who was redshirting this year who is a 5 star QB.

Ha, didn't see that. I saw quite a big deal being made on Twitter for this commit. Probably just smoke then.
Is a pretty athletic dude that had some solid offers out of HS (some at other positions). Cal football fans seemed to be happy he left! Not sure if there is drama there or what but KFAN told some pretty crazy stories about his recruitment on bumper to bumper the other night.. maube he has grown up?

Ah, someone put it on Twitter the other night, and the headline was "gigantic get for Minnesota", or something like that.

Croft is leaving because he was suspended earlier in the season for damaging a door in which there was a video showing he didn’t do it. He couldn’t get over it and he’s leaving. Probably knows he won’t be starting next year with the JUCO transfer coming in.
