Just needs a pin!
It appears those who mocked you earlier deserve to be mocked. We're right on Nebby's heels...
pretty sure Peck gave up...back must've really been hurting..that was a takedown that a 5 yr old would make...
Stoll went to turn Peck earlier and literally put all of his massive weight on one of his shoulder. Injury time but Peck kept going.
Than Peck pretty much fell over from their feet and Stoll fell on top for the pin and got up and stood over him like it was all him.
Than it got chippy. Saw a flash run towards Stoll, imagine that was Brands
Old, very old news. 0-9ish vs Dake.Breaking News!
The more time Sam spends on his feet, and "GOs to the Body" the better his odds always! Don't take down unless you know you can get out ! Going to the body is his bread and butter !The guy was gassed and running big time...and Sam finally got a nice body lock on him. I'd say it was a pretty good come back...

Tell em you're constipated and you might not be back for a bit!Gotta go.. family is getting pissed this 5 minute "work" problem I've been addressing is taking 1.5 hours... d'oh
General shortsightedness and douchebaggery.What for?
I wonder if this should be "oh wow" or "oh yippeee" ? I don't know how you kids use words today. I don't know if wrestling is still going on, I'm just reading the pbp.Stoll let's him go 2-5
Stoll TD 4-5
E Peck 4-6
Oh shit !! Stoll TD to back for FALL
THIS..It appears those who mocked you earlier deserve to be mocked.
General shortsightedness and douchebaggery.
Stoll won that match, the official impact by allowing the "hammer lock" and not stoping it before injury was aggrgerious. If an official had the same call during the Meyers match in the semis his head would be on a platter.Stoll went to turn Peck earlier and literally put all of his massive weight on one of his shoulder. More douchebaggery than shortsighted. Hawks should win (should have) comfortably, but Nebby was closer than thought.Nothing shortsighted about it. Unless of course he already knew Clark withdrew (he didn't).
Told us what exactly?
It was a joke gentlemen, don't get your knickers in a knot. I simply didn't subscribe to the general thought on the boards that Taylor would absolutely wipe the mat with Brooks and bonus was a foregone conclusion, as most did.Boy, you really nailed that one. Way out on the limb.
I am blown away he didn't finish that TD. He seemed to have it well in hand but just let go. I guess that a freshman vs. a senior(?) for you. Was dead tired at the end of the match.
Holy Cow, Kemerer was underhyped.
Wasn't his weight class in HS loaded to and he barely won a state title? Jeez. Hidlay, Joseph and who all else are gonna tear it up when their shirts come off
Sueflohn has won a lot of matches in the 3rd period. His gas tank is among the very best. Overall Kemerer did well in that match against a very tough wrestler; three TDs in the 1st period was impressive. Like you say, Kem just ran out of steam.
Kemerer and Cenzo Joseph had a number of real tight matches in high school; the two were essentially neck and neck. Not certain, but I think Joseph beat Kem (in OT) in states as juniors and the two were in different weight classes as seniors. Anyway, PSU got Joseph and Iowa got Kemerer. Should be very interesting to see how they develop over the next 4+ years, but I doubt anyone in the PA wrestling scene is real surprised on how Kem fared at Midlands.
And, FYI, Joseph is slated to wrestle in the Southern Scuffle this weekend.
That's what I was thinking at the time, it's the only good thing I could come up with while watching him get mauled. Maybe he's just better when he thinks he's not supposed to win.It was pretty bad. That being said, perhaps he needed an outing like this against an opponent like Walters to get him to come out of his shell a little. He is good when he lets the fur fly...not when he wrestles tight/conservative/trying to avoid mistakes. Could be a very, very good loss in retrospect if he learns and grows from it.
You don't absolutely know what he knew or didn't know. Plus, I really don't know if it's that relevant. I never expect perfect health or performance at a tourney. The bottom line is that he said they were nipping at our heels and he turned out exactly right. He had some prudence. One great thing about Multi-Hawk is that he has always chosen his words carefully, and doesn't die on unnecessary hills. I wish I had that character trait.Nothing shortsighted about it. Unless of course he already knew Clark withdrew (he didn't).
I don't think Kemerer was gassed, but he was about a 1/2 a tank perhaps. In the 3rd period he didn't finish like he normally does, in the end that got him. That, and Sueflohn does what he's always done, he keeps coming.Sueflohn has won a lot of matches in the 3rd period. His gas tank is among the very best. Nor is he under 25 years oldLooks like the best 41lber in the country doesn't even wrestle D1
Seems to be a trend at this weight for Iowa. Remember the Mike Evans that went out and racked up majors left and right his first couple years only to win a bunch of close, low scoring decisions as a senior?
