I'll be making the 20 minute train ride north again this year from Chicago.

Anyone venturing over from the great state?

Not this year. Heading back to PA for New Year rather than Christmas for the first time.

Too bad -- short train ride down from north burbs.

In - from the burbs. I love big 10s and nationals but this venue is great for wrestling as it's a large hs gym - highly recommend attending if you can.

Bummed that I couldn't get the time off work for the second year in a row. Already have it off for next year though. Have fun everybody, and keep us posted. Can't always count on the media to work.

I am coming up from Georgia with my son. This will be our first time at Midlands and we are freaking pumped. That being said, I do have a question about parking. We are staying at a nearby hotel and are planning on driving to Welsh Ryan/McGaw for each session. Dumb idea? Or no?

Parking is always a huge pain anywhere around Chicago. Northwestern being a little less severe of course. Depending how far away your hotel is, I would consider downloading the Uber App or simply taking a taxi. You'll spend $10.00 and not have to worry about parking, which is a great feeling.

Uber was my back up plan but it sounds like it may be my safest bet. Thanks for the replies guys.

Depending on where you're staying, ALWAYS try to take train. Absolutely best way to travel. Train station two blocks from arena.
