its funny because the Twin Cities media was ignoring it until they saw it blowing up via Iowa beat writers (HawkCentral, the Gazette, etc) and social media

Common is the same way.. they love to push the buttons of people from Minnesota. However Paul Allen is a douche homer.. Can't stand that man! Do enjoy is vikings broadcasts though.. I love DB and Gardsy though, they're terrific

If they didn't suck so bad, B1G coaches wouldn't be constantly on them about terrible calls. I have never seen conference games more so than the B1G where an official makes a call 30 to 40 feet away, when an official is standing right there not calling anything. If there is an official there, that's not your call. Happens all the time in the B1G, sometimes in the B12.

Ban them from officiating Iowa games for a couple years. Especial the one who was right in front of it all .They need to stay away from Iowa games. Same group called the Maryland loss. Not that I recall some horrible officiating, but 0-2 is enough for me to never see them again.

He sounds like a great guy to me, I mean maybe it's you. There is nothing wrong with hating Minnesota Gophers sports.

Also, I love Common, at least I did when I lived in Minneapolis. He had a Patriots announcer on who probably thought he could talk down the Minnesota radio rube and Common absolutely destroyed him. It was hilarious.

Agree with everything except the part about P.A. being a good broadcaster. I love the Vikings and he makes me not want to tune in with his over-the-top schtick.

I absolutely agree... CL is a fraud... he's looking for hits.... but he don't take his work serious....

the only mediator between officials and fans is the MEDIA .

and there is absolutely no accountability what so ever.

after that ridiculous game.... players had to stand in front of reporters... coaches had to stand in front of reporters....

but the officials who had the greatest impact on that game.... makes no account for their actions... at all.

this should drive one to wonder.... are these games fixed?

how would we know?

if games were fixed.... wouldn't we expect exactly what we are getting?

botched calls at key moments in games.... and no explanation for them afterwards
