It gets him into a fair amount of stalemates. Not a totally bad move, but he does it almost every time now and everyone knows it's coming.
Murin had a nice feel there to get the quick escape. Although I think Blockhus kind of missed opportunity to catch him for some back points.
Many of these matches have been a lot closer than they should.

I love Murins toughness but he might be the worst scrambler Iowa has. When it’s 50/50 I hold my breath. So yeah, he gets score on from stalemate ties.

Yeah he does. I think the goal is to level the playing field against the more athletic guys. Which most are.
Max is a brawler, he isn't as athletic as a lot of the guys at this weight.
max has gotten really good on those opportunistic cradles. team could learn something there. good match.

COBE seems to be getting better and more confident each time out.
Btw, Woods, best I've seen his tank all year.
Cobe just goes right out and establishes the size of his nuts every match and forces his opponent to match it or be in trouble
Even if he doesn't AA, Cobe has been such a pleasant surprise this year and has become one of my favorites to watch on this team
