Monday Depth Chart: Wadley and Welsh starting

I would assume that it is just because he is starting at T, even though Iowa has one of their starters back.

Wowski, is that why?

We may know more tomorrow but I'm thinking we will not see Canzeri until Black Friday, and that may be optimistic. Getting Duzey back will really help the passing game if he's full speed. Not sure anyone in the next 5 weeks
has the personnel to take him on

I was watching the IN vs. MSU game this morning and noticed MSU getting some huge plays down the middle with their TEs. Getting Duzey back is big. Plenty of big plays to be had vs a sloppy IN passing defense. IN's LBs cant cover for more then 15 yards.

MAN, I CAN'T BELIEVE HOW MANY OFFENSIVE COORDINATORS WE HAVE ON THIS SITE! YOU GUYS NEED TO ALL APPLY FOR ALL THESE OPEN JOBS!!!! When you do and are successful, we will take all kinds of notes!!!

I just figured Kirk would put his day 1 starter back in the lineup at #1, not 3rd string

It would really be a blessing to dominate Maryland from the get-go and allow a full three weeks of healing for many of the nicked up and wounded...
I'm hoping 2 weeks of hearing that they're rated and could go undefeated, blah, blah, that they don't get a little complacent. Kids can say it won't get to them all they want, but I bet it's difficult to ignore. The worry, also, out of a bye week, is coming out out flat - I'm glad we're at home for this game.

Leadership seems much stronger this year...lacking the last few years...I am not that concerned about an emotional/effort/concentration let down. Gosh, after the misery the players have endured...I think they will push hard and efficiently... This is their time to shine...on a national stage.

Worst post I've seen in a long time. Just straight garbage.

In no way clever, insightful or in any way even slightly relevant.

Whatever point you thought you were making, I didn't work.

I would guess Myers, Daniels, and Duzey are all available if needed, but still might be a week away from being right. Perhaps they get a few snaps to check out their status. More likely we are probably thinking long term health. Wadley deserves the start after last week. If we can get steady play from the backups of the injured guys one more week would help.

The change in back-up at guard was interesting. Dalton must be ahead of Simmons for that spot now. Anyone able to provide any info for me?

Mazda, in the case of Daniels, I believe Davis said they expected him to be 100% this week?

You may well be right but s%ometimes coach speak about 100% can vary. Regardless as I stated above I do think Wadley deserves the start. If he hangs on to the ball he'll be hard to push out of the #1. Daniels should have fresh legs when we need him.

As long as CJ made some good progress we'll all be happy. Hopefully some of the bruises healed at least.

Long term...the "threat" of CJ's mobility is invaluable for the opponent's defensive game planning...hope he is getting healed up... If he is perceived as being one dimensional it will put severe strains on our pass protection, our running game and our receiver's ability to get open.

I think you're correct, and as long as he is in the game, I believe the threat will be there. The guy could barely walk against NW, but he was still hurting them with his legs.
