Money on NIT

Half of the P5 schools in the NIT don't want to be there, and lose in the first round i was thinking the years I've watched the NIT seems half the 1,2 seeds lose. If you wanna make money bet on the NIT first round on all the non favorites you would make money every year. I'm going to start doing it.

I talking about point spread not many betters pick straight up on a team that Is double digit favorites like I said in another post I should have rephrased that earlier.

With officiating crews like tonight's game, my money is going no where near betting on this.
I saw a B1G crew did the Tech / IU game last night. They looked like an All-Star crew, even with Scroito, in comparison.

Edit. I know there aren't "B1G crews", but guys who did a majority of B1G games this year.

There were guys who were reffing the other NIT games that you will see in the NCAA tournament and possibly the final 4. There are some good officials working these post season games.

The post season is strictly assignment based. These guys get assigned and they do the games. I think the UTAH vs Boise game had some NCAA tournament officials.

Those guys last night for the Iowa game were just fine. Some fans need to know/understand the rules.

Since I clearly don't understand the rules, please tell me how it's a travel when Pemsl catches the ball in mid air, lands with both feet and immediately dribbles the ball. He didn't shuffle his feet or take a step.

I don't understand how it's a jump ball when a player, who has sole possession of the basketball can yell "time out" repeatedly until others reach in.

Not sure how Uhl got called for a foul diving for a loose ball when Iowa has had guys tackled this year going for loose balls with nothing called.

How do you stop play when Dickerson is laying on the ground and Iowa has a clear 5 on 4 advantage?

Still unsure how SD shot 10 more free throws and how Iowa had more fouls (before SD started giving fouls at the end) when SD was more physical on defense.
Fouls: SD 19 (gave four) - Iowa 18
FTs: SD 25 - Iowa 15

The game last night was far from one of the better offiated games this year.

If an opposing player is down and the offense is "attacking" the officials are told not to stop the game. BUT if the team in possession is setting up or not attacking you can stop play. Bohannon had the ball at the beak just standing there. Had he attacked the lane and tried scoring or passing it out, they wouldn't of stopped it.

It was a foul on UHL, you can't dive onto another player.

The TO/JUMP BALL has always been a judgement call. You'll have great officials make that call wrong.

I didn't mean record wise but the point spread. Also I didn't pay attention to the NIT last 3 years also said the years I've paid attention the games are close or 1,2 lose.

So the years I've watched it I would have made money betting the 7,8 seeds especially the 7 on point spread. Sorry for not clearing that up for you. Not many betters bet straight up. They bet 7 seed at +8.

Exactly when i was in high school yes. Now that I'm married this is the first time I've watched the NIT in awhile. But I'll ask my parents if you wanna come over for dinner sounds like my mom makes a good meal!

I suggest finding one game a day that you like and hammer it. But, what usually happens about 15 busch light in is that you are betting west coast games and hockey.

My friend has made over 500,000 dollars sports betting on baseball, basketball and tennis. He was a professional tennis player at one point. Highest he's ever been ranked was 128th, so great for most people but not great when you talked about the elite.

Also know the twins that have been on the World Series of poker he has won 15 million, you guy placed 2nd two years ago on the 15 million dollar pot. I played cards with him twice, took all my money.

He's from Fairfield, Iowa. Ranked top 10-20 in poker. His twin brother isnt as good but has won a tournament. He lives in Vegas like a lot of guys or friends I know.

I bet on baseball for my friend who knows other sports but not baseball, got 20 games in a row for him he won around 10,000 in 3 months I got 20 percent of it.

If I were to bet it would be baseball a lot easier and I'm good at it. Only made a few personal bets and won but my girlfriend at the time didn't want me doing it, she's now my wife.

If i were to bet on over/under I would bet over on games and find a game I feel would be over since these teams are evenly matched and the game could go to overtime. Also if it's close and a team is down they make it a foul fest.

The biggest reason to go over in closely contested games isn't the chance for overtime, but the fouls in the last minute. Can get 12 points in last minute no problem.

If you want to claim you were talking about the spreads, go back to your earlier posts and change where you said the top seeds "lose" or "go down" and change them to "don't cover".

My message didn't go, i changed it even though i did clarify what i meant in another message. I get that people don't bet, so they don't understand people didn't get what i was sayin, 90 percent of the time don't pick a huge underdog to win, you bet the line or over/under.

Also like one said the NIT seasons I've watched the number 1,2 seeds either lose, or barely win.

Maybe it's just the seasons I've watched, and I'm sorry that I upset so many people that they felt the need to gang up on me. It was really pathetic I thought a lot of my fellow hawk fans, after this post I don't.
