Came on late. Locked down multiple first round receivers. Could be an absolute steal at 64.
Niners tend to develop DBs well, so that's good to hear. I'm excited about the pick.
Our steadiest player in the defensive backfield. Feisty and pretty damn physical for his size. Should contribute on the field pretty early in some form or fashion special teams/nickel package (his floor is quite high). He's a really hard worker and had no off-field issues (that I can think of) during his time in Tallahassee.
The knocks against him are his size and the fact he's not a freak athlete. But he's still a good athlete and he's smart and finds a way to get the job done. He hits much harder than the majority DB's in the league.
To me, Jarrian Jones has the better upside than Renardo, but his floor is much lower. I thought both would go in the 3rd round, but Renardo's going to make a little more cash than I anticipated.....good for him, he earned it. If I'm a 49'er fan, I like this pick. It's pretty safe.
