National Dual

Cael needs to buy a horse, go live up in the mountains and quit bothering folks with bad ideas like this. Should have known this was coming from the man who thought a curtain too block walk up sales from the opposing team was a good idea.

Once again Cael is out for himself, no wonder only 1 big team could advance. Convinient Iowa wasnt on his schedule this year nor could they meet up with his team during this event with this godawful format.

I've heard a ton of people refer to this curtain Cael put up over the years, but I wasn't following wrestling pre-2009/2010 and I havent seen anything about it in a google search.. I get the basics of it but could you actually lay out the whole thing for me?

Thanks. Wow, I had always assumed that we as Iowa fans were just making the assumption that he wanted to limit fans, but he officially stated it himself.

It just adds to my respect for Tom, Terry, and the whole Iowa coaching staff for always wanting to promote the sport. You hear it in almost every Tom Brands interview, he talks about making it special for the fans.

I would say it is safe to assume the word order was incorrect in his sentence.

Simply put, I very much dislike when someone attacks someone else and does the same thing in their insult.

I have nothing wrong with Cael's grammar or dual proposal. I was just pointing out that this was kinda his idea. I kinda like it. Compared to half the top teams skipping a so called national dual where we go and get our guys hurt right before the post season.

I think you are generally a prick when you attack someone for grammar. That is unless they are attacking someone else for their grammar. Go ahead attack someone for their ideas but you are being an ass for attacking someone on their grammar that is putting themselves out there with their ideas. That is unless their ideas are about grammar.

I am sorry. I probably should have ignored it, but it is one of my biggest pet peeves on message boards.

Simply put, say/type whatever you want, how you want. However, as soon as you attack someone for something, you should be held to the same standard you attacked the person for not maintaining.

I'm not going to beat this dead horse any more, but they've put on back-to-back events in Carver before. The women's game would be over around 4:00. I don't see why they couldn't put on a wrestling meet at 6:00 or 7:00.

I dont disagree with any of that-- Sunday WOULD draw better. With that said we are most likely going to end up wrestling Mizz would will be a really good match up and compelling dual, as they beat us last year.. we get the dual at home and the downside it is on a Monday--

Next year we will likely travel and I will be grumbling about now knowing who we are wrestling a week out etc... National Duals are simply not as relevant anymore. They should have figured out a way to make PSU vs Iowa for the National Dual title this yr..everyone would understand.

So all in all---I will take a dual against Mizz--- if it ends up being NC state Im not nearly as excited ( mizz will prob beat them Sun)

Well this was posted over on BWI seems like they sure worship their God for everything. this national dual thing to be is the stupidest thing to have. Now the rumor is Okl State wants to back out no money and they have a couple of serious injuries.
