*****NCAA SELECTION SHOW THREAD*****

I missed the Selection Show...but when I brought up the DVR for some reason they were interviewing Rick Pitino.
Oh yeah...that's a great kick off to March Madness. Let's feature one of the sleaziest coaches of the last 20 years.
F. F. S.

Slick Rick got Iona in the tournament in his first year there...give him props because he probably didn't have enough time to cheat..

Not complaining because Iowa probably got the seeding it deserved, but anyone who thinks that ending up opposite Gonzaga instead of anyone else is a good thing is crazy IMO.

I think most would be happy with just getting to an elite 8 game.

The games before that are good for Iowa. Oregon is a small lineup. Garza should have his way.

Kansas is very beatable.

Suter, I have to say, I thought we had enough GREAT shooters around the best player in the country to win the B1G.

We sure as heck did not play up to preseason B1G rankings (we were the preseason favorite to win the B1G and ended up a distant 3rd).

If we are truly the 5th best team in the country, it's time we show it & make at minimum an Elite 8 appearance for the 1st time in 34 years.
To be fair 4 losses came without CJ. I'd like to think the Hawks pull out 1-2 of those games with him.
No one saw Michigan being that good and who knows if they drop another game or two if they'd played them all?

All the #1ā€™s are tough. The Hawks played 3 of them and lost to them all.

I would be ecstatic if they played Gonzaga, even if they lose. That means Regional Final.

I find it odd that all 4 of the Pac-12 team are in 2 regions on the same side of the bracket. Then you have USC and Oregon(1st and 2nd in the conference) in the same region lower part of the West. While wouldn't these teams be spread out?
