I don't get the bad draw comments. Would much rather play Oregon than UConn or VT.

Don’t let them tell you otherwise, but the brand factor carries weight. Wichita State does have a somewhat brand factor.
Especially seeing a 10 seed like Rutgers, who Houston could get in round 2. **** that. Give me Oregon
If Creighton is playing their best, they can beat Gonzaga.
No P6 team is ever going to get lower than a 12 seed, smarten up
Looking at the rest of the field and matchups, Iowa actually has a very good draw for at least making it to the 2nd week. I'll worry about Kansas/USC/Gonzaga after we've sewed up the sweet 16.
The B1G has nine teams in the tourney. That speaks volumes as how good our conference is.

Agree, we got a reasonably good draw. Who gives a shit who you have to play when you make the Sweet 16/Elite 8, theres nowhere to hide when younget that far
Always something to b*tch about. Iowa's a 2 seed and if we're making our shots shouldn't have issues handling our business. I don't think the NCAA is out to get us.
Oregon is not long. Starters are all 6'5-6'6 only a 6'8 guy with any real reg min.
No bracket would be a walkover for us. Reality...we are 0-4 against the three 1 seeds we played this year, and only one of those games was really competitive. What makes anyone think we would be better off in Michigan's or Illinois' brackets? We have no clue about Baylor, but we know where we stand with the other 3...and it hasn't proven particularly good for us so far.
It's natural for everyone to look at the bracket and immediately think about what the big problems could be for your team.

True. There were some games when Iowa was on fire 3pt shooting that were pretty easy wins over good opponents...then there were the two stinkers vs Indiana......Iowa didn't do well vs elite teams like Gonzaga, Michigan, and and Illini.
Iowa's Garza advantage is he needs too convert at high efficiency/outscore opposing center so it opens up 3pt shooting for Iowa's relatively slow footed guards. B1G is loaded with teams with Good post scorers, and with Garza only Big on roster, he really has to play soft on post defense so the Garza advantage at center disappeared in a lot of B1G games. So I think the biggest hurdle is whether Iowa plays teams that don't have an answer for Garza. Gonzaga clearly does in Timme who is very efficient post scorer.

Yes...Likely player & coach families first, high rollers second and if anything is left over the schools will find a way to distribute to fans.
