The only shot Mekhi had was going at him for a full 7 minutes but he wrestled scared. That was very underwhelming lol.

Sure am glad Mehki Lewis never wrestled at Iowa - could you imagine the meltdown.
That's what we need to start doing. Quit worrying about stalling or refs not making the right calls and go out there and beat up on some opponents. This hope for one TD and a win in the 3rd or OT has become an Iowa thing and it f**king sucks, meaning that we f**king suck!! We always talk about what PSU does to win, even bitch about it quite frequently, but for the most part we don't emulate it. Why is that? Why aren't we looking at some PSU best practices - one of which is to go out and score points - and make them our own. We look horrible.
Welsh would be interesting if they both make it to the finals. Doesn't seem like he would turtle up.

Lewis clearly has a mental block vs starocci. Zero effort until 30 secs left.
Kennedy rides him out and gets a stall point. Goes down and out. 3-3 but Kennedy has riding time.
They aren't talented enough to do what Penn State does. Not saying they shouldn't be performing better but they aren't capable of just racking of points.

I disagree. Starocci's gonna be able to ride him and Griffith isn't going to have the offense to open him up and test that knee. I think Welsh has the best tools to test him based on what we've seen this weekend.
