As far as I can tell, as of 10:00 a.m. EDT, we have no idea when we play again. How can that be? I suppose the good news is since we play UConn we will get a great time slot/network. #GoHawks

Stinks they get several days to prep for Iowa. Iowa Women's Basketball showing the Men's team how to get things done though. If you're not watching this team and you call yourself a Hawkeye you need to start. Massive upcoming game for the program.

Second round isn't complete yet, there are another set of games today. I would guess by the end of the day or early tomorrow the times for Sweet 16 would be announced.

Unfortunately other then Clark, I think you'll see an advantage athletically to Uconn similar to Oregon vs Iowa guys. We won't match up well at all with a team that full of talent. Clark will get hers but it will be an accomplishment if they could stay within 20 of Uconn or Baylors women....

It's the sad reality of the Women's game. Dominated by a select few schools. At a school like Iowa you almost need three Clark's just to compete with the big schools.

They have two 6’5” girls and a roster pretty much handpicked fro the country. Seven are freshmen too, couple of sophomores , no seniors. Built for four championships in a row

No idea on day time, but it did say ABC, ESPN, or ESPN2.

Also, yes the amount of talent and how much better the top four or five women’s teams are compared to everybody else doesn’t allow it to be as fun as it should. Every once and a great while, a team will catch lightning in the bottle and pull an upset on one of these schools, but it’s not nearly enough. I’m surprised people don’t get tired of seeing UConn and Baylor won by 40. Maybe they do though which is why it’s not as popular of a sport as it should be.

They do. Its whats killed the women's game for fans. The Women's March madness isn't really something to watch until you get to the Elite 8 or even Final Four. Just too many blowouts and eveyone knows who will be the final 8 or 4 teams before the tournament even starts. To know your schools best teams absolute high ceiling is maybe Sweet 16 or Elite 8 takes a lot of the fun away.

Even with Clark a once in lifetime talent Iowa will struggle to get past the Sweet 16 during her career here. I can see them getting to the Elite 8 once or twice maybe if the bracket seeds in their favor.

With men's basketball though a team can get on a run and as we've seen again thia year highly likely small programs can get on runs and take down 1 and 2 seeds.

If the womens team can find through transfer or recruiting another elite player who knows. If the wind blows just right just maybe.

Going to the Final Four with one exceptional player is still possible. University of Washington's team had Kelsey Plum, the NCAA career scoring record holder. In her junior year of 2016, UW went to the Final Four, even though it only finished 5th in the Pac-12 with a 11-7 conference record. Next year UW went to the Sweet Sixteen. However, after Kelsey Plum graduated and the head coach left for Arkansas, the Huskies went back to the dumps and didn't win more than 5 conference games in any year since then, and the current coach just got fired.

The top seeds in this year's Mercado region look vulnerable. #2 Texas A&M almost lost in the first round. #1 NC State had trouble against South Florida yesterday, trailing at half time. Maybe #4 Indiana can make it out, though #3 Arizona looked very good. The top 2 seeds in other three regions all look invincible so far.

I'm guessing that is Joens dad that is acting like an absolute horses arse? I've heard stories about him. Dude is flipping out pacing up and down the stadium yelling at the refs.

Old man Joens might have gotten tossed out of the gym!!!!!!!!!!!! Guy's a psycho.

I agree with the dad though, the refs seemed to swallow their whistles at the end of regulation.

I will 100% guarantee you that everyone on the Clone's women's basketball will say they got screwed by the refs.

Old man Joens will be quite the twitter entertainment tonite.

The truth of the matter is Coach Fennelly pissed this game away for the Clones.

Isu got hosed. Jump ball was a very bad call then swallow the whistle on isu last possession of regulation. Almost felt bad for them... :p

ISU's offense in OT was let Joens play one on one while the other four stand and watch.

Fennelly cost ISU that game. Oh, and 25 turnovers didn't help.

Someone better watch Brian Joens... he might jump into one of the canals in SA.

And as someone else said... can you imagine being those younger kids of the Joens family and watching your dad have THAT meltdown? Brian just became a YOU TUBE legend tonite. You can see why Lisa Bluder wanted nothing to do with that family and why she told daddy she wouldn't be recruiting his daughters.

That girl throwing elbows should have been called. Two FTs AND the ball.

Lol not a chance. Other girl was way up in her space. It’s called the cylinder rule, read up on it! Not to mention there was never a tie up. Isu player should have been shooting ft’s to ice the game.

I hate that they allow the defender to get so close. Cylinder rule needs to be addressed in off season. Rewatched that play and still couldn’t see how that was a jump ball.

This and anybody who thinks otherwise is an idiot. Call the foul and the other things don't happen.

Women’s officiating will always be a joke. I actually thought this game was officiated ok compared to most of the games I’ve watched this year. Some bad calls at the end but better than normal.

Not a Iowa St fan but that was the most disgusting end to a game I have seen.
tie up was a mugging and should have been a foul.
Jones last shot was a foul also and the officials ate their whistle
