Even before the ass kicking in Madison, I thought the hawks would beat Nebby at home. I think we see a pissed off Iowa team tonight that had their manhood questioned against the Badgers.

If you haven't seen nebraska play this year, they aren't the same team as prior years. they play defense now. They will not wow you with athletes but they play aggressive no middle defense like iowa state.
It was a nice change by the mayor, one that fran will never do.

Zero defense makes this game a 97-68 type game. Wish I was wrong but there is strong evidence to the contrary.

I agree and hope this thinking is wrong. But, I simply cannot see the Hawks winning this game. The game up in Madison was even more desturbing then I thought it would be at the start. Ugh.

Traore doesn’t deserve that after his awful outing in Madison. He is very slow moving side to side on D.

We have several 40% three point shooters in Dix, Sandafort & Thelwell starting. Brock would be best off the bench on the 2nd unit. Traore can help on defense with his length and rebounding. He will get abused by bigger guards in the Big10.

Dix and Thelwell are shooting from 3 point range pretty good. Sandford is NOT - .320. Harding easily leads the team in both steals and assists. When he is not on the floor, the offense stagnates. Sometimes he gets abused on switching defenses with him guarding a big under the basket. Truth is, even if Freeman gives up that kind of position, he gets abused too just as he abuses anyone that gives him that kind of position. Harding has helped defense our post with much success. He is great at advancing the ball and dishing. He has weaknesses and has some outstanding strengths. We will NEVER agree about Harding. He has many, many times played against Big Ten type teams and did quite well.
