I'm gonna go ahead and go out on a limb and say that whether the water tower is painted or not has had/will have zero effect on any recruit ever in the history of Iowa athletics.

Not having painted will not have an impact, it however is a missed opportunity. Having gone on several recruiting visits and talking with several players you would be surprised at what gets them to think twice about a school. A well done, memorable design that shows well at a night game will make them remember their visit. To argue that point is silly. I knew a kid who ruled out a school because the school bought lunch for his mom and not his dad(divorced) on a visit. Missed opportunity to make an impact. FYI that limb just broke off underneath you.

I don't want to be greedy because the Calloway commit is awesome but you mentioned that there may be a second commit. Will that commit not be far behind Chevin's verbal?

My friend was pretty sure but he also said outside of Texas. Maybe I was drinkin too much wine at that point. I know he thought there was another right on the heels of Calloway.
Calloway commit is pretty damn awesome. Dunne would not be a bad one either. This thing has really snowballed in a great way. If the boys put together another salty season this year it could really start to get interesting.
