Does Eddie Redmayne deliver a good performance as an assassin? Ever since “The Good Shepherd” it’s difficult for me to see him as anything other than an annoying beta cuck,

Yea I wasn't sure about him coming in to the show but he plays this part pretty well IMO. He's got the creepy sociopath vibe working for him

Yes, yes he does. It's a very strong cast, and they found lots of spots in former Soviet Bloc nations where you can blow stuff up cheaply during production.
Hopefully they can get season 2 done in decent time. I have questions that need to be answered. Is Gary alive? Did Nuria leave knowing The Jackal would follow? Is Osi planning something to avenge his friends?

Black Doves starring Keira Knightley looks to be excellent. Only 3 episodes are out so far.
I have also been watching Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt. It's the series Tina Fey created after 30 Rock. It's a little quirky, but the same clever writing, and an amazing cast.

Who was helping the Jackal all along? Was it just this rich person syndicate? Or, someone in MI6? Was Osi playing angles all along?

I was pleasantly surprised how much I liked this series. It's set for another season as well. I didn't realize Ted Danson is 77 years old, man am I getting old.

I run a year or two behind on TV series, but among the stuff I've seen recently, I really like Black Mirror, The Night Agent and The Tourist. Would highly recommend them all, but be forewarned, some of it is very disturbing.

The Night Agent was surprisingly good.
I started Black Mirror but it’s not really a show I can binge watch so have only watched a few episodes over the year. My 18 YO NP daughter recommended it and really likes it.

I second Landman. Probably the best Taylor Sheridan series since the first couple seasons of Yellowstone and far better than the last season of Yellowstone.

Also the second season of Squid Games is as good as the first season ie excellent. Even the game show version they made ie Squid Game Challenge has been excellent so far.
