I say Brock will end up making his decision sooner than later (no inside scoop, just an opinion) then all Hell breaks loose and the recruits start committing... me thinks this will be an OUTSTANDING CLASS... and we’re off to a good start.. Go Hawks!

Justin Britt tweeted he’s deciding on June 30th. I feel like it could be an Iowa/Purdue battle.

I saw Brock liked Britt’s tweet - package deal to Iowa?

I could see them both going to Iowa but idk about package deal. I doubt they really know each other much if at all. Could see Purdue landing both Britt and David Bell since they’re high school teammates. Seems like we’re both in the running for a lot of the same recruits this year in Bell, Brock, Britt, Kiser, Craig Young, and Larry Tracy.

I meant maybe they’re both high on Iowa rather then close friends/teammates and going to the same school because of it. Bad wording on my part.

Ahh no worries. When I hear package deal I think hey it’s two really close friends that are determined to both pick the same school. Twins are a great example haha.

well if He did go to ISU He would only have to run against 1 tough defense ( Iowa's ) every year , B12 defenses are about as tough as a wet paper bag
Maybe, but he would be part of the most electric offensive conf in the country.

Sheelhaase was a QB for Illinois that went to Rockhurst in KC. He was born in Davenport and his dad is Nate Creer(1985 Hawk star). He was offered by OU, Iowa, ILL, and Mizzou in HS. He has the longest relationship with Brock of the teams recruiting the kid. Sheelhaase was rb coach at ILL before being hired by Matt Campbell.

Nate Scheelhaase has the thinnest position coaching resume of all suitors. Not a sign of coach that will be there in your near future. Foster maybe be new to Iowa but his resume is far more impressive and experienced.

It is all about the relationship built. There are also strong ties to ISU that folks here are probably not aware of.

True story ... recruiting is largely built on the relationships built between the player and the coaches (and also the other players in the class).

Hawks have done a real good job of recruiting this kid. It is going to be a dogfight until the end.

Sebastian Castro wasn't impressed. Don't tell me he only recruits rb's

He was offered by Iowa before anyone else and talks with them the most and believe he’s visited Iowa the most as well.

He has visited Iowa 6 times and ISU 5 times. His basketball coach is Tony Douglas, who's brother was an ISU athlete that lives in Des Moines. It should be a good battle.

Do you have the bio for Tony Douglas and his brother?

So he’s the bagman? Anyways my wife’s uncle’s cousin’s son is his teammate and is going to Iowa as have other family members of which some played sports at Iowa and know the coaches.
