Next in line... commitment for football...

All signs point to Iowa for Brock but it is recruiting so things can change pretty fast.
Then you are only looking at what you want to see because right now it is 50/50 between 2 schools, but things can change as you mentioned.

Just looking at the evidence. Not saying who he will or won't eventually end up choosing. Just the current state of things.

Link to this information other than someone who knows someone who knows someone etc. Any recruiting analyst, recruit, coaches etc. Why would he release a Top 7 if it’s down to 2. That would be wasting his time and their time.

What do you guys think Larry Tracy will do? End up back at Iowa or somewhere else? Has he visited since his decommittment?

Given how much Husker fans seemed to like their chances of landing Hickman and Newsom ... it's good news for the Hawks that they're still evaluating their options. It doesn't guarantee anything ... but it's always good to be in the running for high-quality guys.

Given the presence Coach Bell has given us in Indiana ... I'm thinking we land a few guys from Indiana in this recruiting cycle.

Also, Phil Parker's connections in Michigan give us some sway there ... Iowa seems to be well positioned for either Ruke Orhorhoro or Jalen Hunt, both guys who are talent DL-types. If they don't land at Michigan or Michigan State ... then I could see Iowa being firmly in the mix.

Given that Hesse and Brincks will be graduating after '18, our shuffling of personnel between DE and DT, and the fact that McKnight has been injured .... even though we have some well-documented depth at DE, it appears as though getting a quality DE in the '19 class is a bit of a priority. It will be interesting to see how things work out there.

He has visited Iowa 6 times and ISU 5 times. His basketball coach is Tony Douglas, who's brother was an ISU athlete that lives in Des Moines. It should be a good battle.

This is your "strong ties" to ISU argument? Come on man. That is weak sauce.

Brock also mentioned Oline and looking at what guys were already committed. ISU can’t compare to our line and current commits.

Doesn't help the clowns they just lost a guy from Illinios. Me thinks the momentum that was the 2017 ISU season has run into the brake pads known as historical data.

Could be Jalen Hunt out of Belleville Mi. I don't recall seeing a time frame on his commitment, but looks like he may be trending toward Iowa right now. This is a very good development as we hadn't heard much from him lately. 4 crystal balls came in for him to Iowa today. Hope its not a fluke. Wiltfong, Trieu, and Michigan State insider as well as Michigan insider. Reserved optimism here.

There was some thought that Jestin Jacobs was close.

Is Iowa slow playing Hutson?

Jalen Hunt is a player.

How would they be slow playing Hutson ... did they not let him visit or something? Usually slow playing a recruit implies trying to keep their recruitment under the radar .... and that usually means holding back when you offer guys in the first place. The fact that they offered him early suggests that they wanted to make sure that they were in on him adequately early. Past that ... they usually don't let guys commit until they get a chance to visit campus first.

Has Hunt visited?

No evidence...just a feeling, could be wrong. They have slow played people before.

I think we will take two DE's in this class.

Why be such an ass? It was no secret Iowa wanted him to be a DB. One of my best friends son was a teammate of Scheelhaase at Rockhurst where he won the Missouri HS player of the year award.
Just show me somelace besides a message board where that is mentioned. A recruiting site would work. I will certainly apologize if there is anything. I am used to certain folks around here that embellish on a regular basis to slam anything ISU.

Cytwins, all you do is see what you want and ignore the rest. You may want to man up before throwing stones at others.

Cytwins and clown fans in general know no other way to behave. It is the isu DBag culture.

I won't go through the effort to find you anything. You're an idiot if you saw him play in High School and at 6'2'' 190lbs. running 4.5 40 dynamic runner, average arm and couldn't envision him at any other position than QB. Iowa was not the only school that thought his skills could be put to better use at a position other than QB.
