While we were in Texas winning our 5th straight title you guys went out to Rose Bowl and got crushed. Looking back at your record last year it was pretty impressive how you barely beat some bottom feeders like Minnesota, Indiana and Pittsburgh. I would really hang my hat on those victories #overrated
Yet NDSU brags about beating FCS teams over the past few years who were at the times bottom of the barrel teams in Kansas, Iowa St & Minnesota. K-State was only decent team they beat and no of those players from that team are around anymore. Iowa 2 losses to Michigan St and Stanford. Meanwhile NDSU lost to Montana and mighty South Dakota last year.

Please do your homework. Not unlike NDSU, Iowa also is built from the trenches on out. If NDSU beats Iowa in the trenches, then your beloved squad will deserve to win the game.
I think that we won't see you on this board after the game ... because you will be unwilling to admit that "your guys" were defeated in the trenches FIRST ... before succumbing in the game.

I watched the highlights of your recent win over a nobody and was immediately put at ease. Your guys look like stick figures compared to what they will face and you better hope to god you have your MLB back. I tend to be a fan of the underdogs but you guys seem to actually think your good not just jv (fcs) good. Iowa loses to teams when the other giys have enough talent to beat our fundamentals, you dont have the talent and are not going to out fundamental us. We are going to spank you.

He couldn't even throw for 200 yards against Charleston Southern and led his team to 17 points in regulation. Your future 1st rounder almost cost NDSU the game with that fine throw at the end of the 4th qtr.

Iowa is playing 2 cream puffs before the herd comes to town so ESPN can show that it might be a game with 2 undefeated teams but how many times has College Gameday been to the cornfields??? Shows how much interest the nation has in your average program.
My guess would be because like every one else in the country nobody cares about NDST.
You obviously don't know football. Minnesota lost to TCU by 6 and Michigan by 3. Indiana lost to Ohio State by 7 and Michigan by 7 in double overtime. Both of those teams played in bowl games, so those are pretty bad examples for "bottom feeders."
I have respect for the NDST football team. They've obviously developed a nice little program for their division. However, I can't say the same for their fan base--at least, if the messages being littered on this board by NDST fans are a fair indicator of the caliber of fans they have, one would have to conclude that at best NDST fans are borderline retarded. You clearly surpassing that.
Oh, and the whole "barn" and cornfield" quips are beyond cliche and lame. This is especially the case when they are coming from people from North Dakota--the one state in the Union that noone would ever choose to live in unless they like barren land and subarctic temperatures half the year.
Iowa has been on game day 6 times and hosted twice. Ndsu has been on game day twice and has hosted both times. You guys truly have no grasp for where you are on the totem pole.
Iowa went undeafted last year in regular season. How did ndsu do against that cream puff schedule??
I forgot that NDSU's first 2 opponents Charleston Southern and E. Washington are power houses....
We will learn more about NDSU against Eastern Washington. I am just thankful they have a game between now and Iowa. They don't need anymore time to prep for Iowa.
